Guizhou University Management Science and Engineering

The Department of Management Science and Engineering of the School of Management of Guizhou University was founded in 1998, formerly known as the Department of Engineering Management, and now has three majors: engineering management, e-commerce and logistics management. The Department of Management Science and Engineering 1999 began to recruit undergraduates, and there are currently 550 undergraduates.

First, the status of teachers

There are 30 teachers in the Department of Management Science and Engineering, including 3 professors, 2 associate professors 12, 4 lecturers 14 and 1 teaching assistant 1 person. Among the teachers, 4 have doctorates, 16 have master's degrees, 3 are pursuing in-service doctorates, and 2 are pursuing in-service master's degrees. In 2007, he received a master's degree in "Management Science and Engineering".

Second, the main scientific research and teaching situation

Teachers in the Department of Management Science and Engineering have been engaged in the teaching and scientific research of project management for a long time, and have formed five teaching and research groups: real estate management, project cost management, construction site management, e-commerce and logistics management. In recent ten years, they have made a series of achievements, undertaken 7 scientific research projects, published 43 papers, compiled 2 teaching materials, published 4 monographs, and trained more than 500 undergraduates.

At present, the Department of Engineering Management has undertaken the teaching tasks of all professional courses such as engineering management, e-commerce, logistics management and some basic courses of the School of Management, offering more than 40 courses. The main courses offered are: introduction to construction project management, operational research, engineering economics, construction project contract management, management information system, architecture, construction enterprise management, construction organization design, project cost management, project bidding and contract management, construction supervision and introduction to construction regulations.
