Over the years, nearly 400 traditional plays, historical plays and modern plays have been created, adapted and arranged, and a large number of outstanding plays have emerged, resulting in such famous works as Butterfly Lovers, The Romance of the West Chamber, A Dream of Red Mansions and Sister Xianglin. * * * More than 50 dramas have been made into movies and TV series.
