109 National Highway passes through the following cities: Beijing, Yangyuan, Datong, Zuoyun, Youyu, Qingshuihe, Dongsheng, Shizuishan, Huinong, Pingluo, Helan, Yinchuan, Yongning, Qingtongxia, Zhongning, Jingyuan, Baiyin, Gaolan and Lanzhou, Gansu. National Highway 109 (Jingla Highway) starts from Beijing in the northeast and ends in Lhasa, Tibet in the southwest, with a total length of 3,922 kilometers. It was opened to traffic in 2009. It passes through Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Gansu, Qinghai and Tibet.
