I am a student. Can I apply for a passport abroad in other places?

Now many cities don't have to go back to their place of residence to apply for passports. There are three main situations where you can choose to apply for a passport nearby:

First, eligible mainland residents can submit ordinary passports near their temporary (residence) residence:

For example, the foreign registered spouses of registered residents in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Nanchang, Jinan, Qingdao, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Changsha, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanning, Haikou, Chongqing, Chengdu and Xi 'an, and their children under 16 years old.

Personnel in the above 3 1 cities and Wuxi, Changzhou, Suzhou, Wenzhou, Jiaxing, Zhoushan, Quanzhou, Zhuzhou, Xiangtan, Zhuhai, Dongguan, Foshan 12 cities (including 43 cities) with large floating population can submit ordinary passport applications nearby.

Second, people over 60 years old (inclusive) can submit ordinary passports near their temporary (residential) residence;

Mainland residents who have reached the age of 60 (inclusive) and have lived in their temporary residence for more than 6 months (inclusive) may submit applications for ordinary passports, mainland residents' passes to and from Taiwan and endorsements nearby.

Third, mainland residents can submit the renewal and replacement of ordinary passports near their temporary (residential) residence;

Mainland residents who have lived in temporary (residential) places all over the country for more than 6 months (inclusive) can renew or reissue ordinary passports and mainland residents' passes to and from Taiwan and apply for similar endorsements to Taiwan again.
