Adult sheep nose flies, namely claw flies, mostly appear in spring, summer and autumn, especially in summer. Adults began to contact sheep in June and July, while females flew in pastures and pens and drilled into sheep nostrils to produce larvae. After three stages of larva development, the larva gradually crawls from the depths to the nasal cavity.
