A rake is a claw-shaped bamboo appliance made of bamboo strips, which is used to rake grass. Its shape is a rake tooth with a fan-shaped eagle claw and a bamboo pole at one end.
When in use, people hold the bamboo pole with their hands, and the bamboo teeth are inserted down into the grass to move back and forth, and scattered leaves or hay are held together as fuel. It is also used to harvest rice leaves and thresh legumes to remove stems and leaves. Lightweight and easy to use, it is a common tool for collecting firewood and drying grain in rural areas.
