What are the economies of Qingdao, Dalian, Yantai and Weihai?

What is the concept of a good city, or at what level. I was born in Qingdao, grew up in Yantai and went to college in Dalian. I can try to talk.

Economy. There is no doubt that Wei Qingyan's current economic situation is ok. Qingdao has a larger population than Wei Yan, so the total amount is higher, but the per capita GDP of these three places is not much different (per capita GDP is still the highest in Qingdao). In addition, Yantai's industrial output value and tax revenue have always been the first in Shandong.

City size and infrastructure. There is no doubt that Qingdao and Dalian are the best, followed by Yantai. Weihai lags far behind Yantai, not to mention Qingdao and Dalian. Qingdao Dalian is much better than Wei Yan in terms of city scale, commercial service industry and financial development. Among them, Dalian started early and Qingdao developed rapidly. Now, the two are not equal, and Qingdao is better. As a city with a population of 2 million, Yantai is not as good as Qingdao and Dalian, two sub-provincial cities at present, but it is no problem to rank in the top four or five in domestic prefecture-level cities, with convenient life and complete facilities. Both the first and second lines are available, and Yantai is almost ok. It is worth mentioning that Yantai has a national joint-stock commercial bank and the headquarters of two national joint-stock insurance companies, which is also better than many sub-provincial cities (such as Qingdao). Weihai was separated from Yantai, so until now, in the shadow of Yantai, most enterprises or institutions have set up branches in Yantai and are also responsible for Weihai. You can often see "General Agent of Jiaodong" and "Wei Yan Office" on the streets of Yantai.

Speaking of city appearance, Qingdao and Dalian are both great. There are many tall buildings in Dalian, and the management of the city is relatively better. Although Yantai has the tallest building in Shandong, the city is far from being compared with Qingdao and Dalian, and its management is similar to Qingdao, slightly dirtier than Qingdao and inferior to Dalian and Weihai. Weihai city is clean and beautiful, but it lost in scale.

Development potential. Shandong's dual core is Qingdao and Jinan. Yesterday's Party Congress emphasized this point, so the development potential is obviously Qingdao's first. Yantai, as the troika of Shandong's economy, is the first industrial city in Shandong and also the regional fund management center. Although the future can't be compared with Qingdao, it still has broad potential. As the city with the least northeastern temperament in Northeast China (Dalian people mostly come from Wei Yan, Jiaodong, and speak the same Jiaodong dialect as Wei Yan, which can be described as Yantai's brother city), but it is inevitably influenced by the Northeast economy economically, and the Northeast economy shows no signs of recovery in the short term, so the future potential of Dalian is also questioned. Weihai's economy will not encounter the problems of Dalian, but because of the size of the city and the shadow of Yantai, perhaps the environment is the signboard of Weihai.

Climate and environment. Weihai comes first, there is no doubt about it. Air coastline greening, etc. Yantai's air quality is similar to Weihai's (weekly report of Shandong Environmental Protection Department), while Wei Yan's air quality is far stronger than Qingdao's, and Yantai's environmental competitiveness ranks second in China, second in China+first in coastal summer resort city, and 12 in the world. This is because Yantai Weihai is a rare place in China. It faces the sea in the north, dry and not humid in summer, and the sea is blue, which is much stronger than Qingdao, which faces the sea in the south. Although the summer temperature in Qingdao is almost the same as that in Wei Yan (even lower than that in Wei Yan in many cases), the sauna days are severe and a little sultry because of the south sea.

The coastline of the sea. Cigarettes are the best. Yanwei Line is the only national-level seaside scenic spot in China, and the beach and coastline conditions are much better than Qingdao. The coastal sandpaper in Qingdao city is rough, and the man-made traces are too heavy. Frankly speaking, Jiaodong people don't recognize Qingdao's coastal coastline.

Catering seafood. These four places are located in the northern waters, so the quality of seafood can't be said. After eating cold water seafood, you will know how bad southern seafood is. When it comes to catering, the four places are actually similar. Yantai is the first. Yantai is one of the birthplaces of Shandong cuisine, the first of the four major cuisines in China (the other is Licheng in Jinan), and has the only county-level cooking association in China. Yantai seafood sausage is a must, followed by Weihai, and the new Shandong cuisine from Weihai is very elegant.
