First, residents who buy or rent houses in the municipal districts, namely Huicheng District, Daya Bay District, Huiyang District and Zhong Kai High-tech Zone, must provide three years of residence (continuous residence registration for three years or more) and legal and stable employment for three years (continuous payment of social insurance for three years or continuous operation for three years, which can complement each other). Residents themselves, their spouses, parents and unmarried children can apply for permanent residence in this city. However, the regulations also mention that some areas can appropriately relax the fixed number of years.

Second, there are residents who buy or rent houses in towns (streets) of counties (Huidong, Longmen and Boluo) under the jurisdiction of the city and apply for residence permits. I, my spouse, parents and unmarried children can apply to move into the permanent residence of this city at their place of residence.
