Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, CDIO for short, is located in Nanshan Scenic Area, the main city of Chongqing, China. It is a teaching and research university co-founded by China People, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Chongqing Municipal People's Government. It has been selected into the national "Basic Capacity Building Project of Midwest Universities" and the national "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan", and is the core cooperative university of the national "201plan" and the China municipal government scholarship. Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications Mobile College is an independent college approved by the Ministry of Education and undertaken by Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications. It is a full-time private undergraduate college.
Baidu knows that Chongqing Yitong College is located in Chongqing Hechuan University Town. It is a full-time private undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education and headed by the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. It is a reform pilot institution in Universities of Applied Sciences, China.
In August 2000, with the approval of Chongqing Education Commission, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications and Chongqing Yitong Industrial Corporation jointly established Yitong College of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications. In February, 2006, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications was renamed Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications Mobile Communication College was renamed Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications Mobile Communication College. From June 5438 to February 2020, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was agreed that Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications would be restructured into Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and the establishment of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications would be abolished.
The school has 12 secondary colleges, including Communication and Information Engineering College, Intelligent Engineering College, Big Data and Computer Science College, Fine Business College, Digital Economy and Information Management College, Arts and Media College, Foreign Languages College, German Institute of Technology, Information Security College, Drama and Film College, Big Health Management College and Vision College. There are 44 undergraduate majors in communication engineering, rail transit and signal control, financial management, mechanical design, manufacturing and automation (Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools), electrical engineering and automation (Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools), internet finance, software engineering and 4 majors in communication technology and industrial and commercial enterprise management. It has formed a professional system that focuses on engineering and integrates and coordinates the five disciplines of economy, management, literature and art.
