Bazhong to Dazhou expressway is an important part of the east-west horizontal expressway from Lanzhou to Guangyuan to Bazhong to Dazhou to Wanzhou in the planning of expressway network in Sichuan Province. The project route starts from Mujiaba, Bazhou District, Bazhong City and ends in Wei Xing Town, Tongchuan District, Dazhou City. The total length of the route is 1 10 km, with a total investment of 102 billion yuan and a construction period of 3 years.
After the completion of the highway, the distance between Bazhong and Dazhou via Pyeongchang was shortened from 193 km along S202 line to 106 km, which greatly shortened the space-time distance between the two cities.
Bada expressway connects Guangyuan, which is about to be opened to traffic, to Bazhong expressway in the west, and Dazhou, which is under construction, to Wanzhou (Sichuan-Chongqing border) expressway in the east.
