Shen-Mi Expressway-Overview
Shenmi Expressway passes through Gujintan, Gaojiabao, Qiaojiacha, Liangshuijing, Gaoxingzhuang to Li Zhi, Wangjiashan sets up a tunnel, deviating from Tuwei River, along Yangou, and then to Gaochang. It sets up a tunnel from Yuan Shang Village to Wang Yuan Village, along Yangtiao Angel to Liugou, and connects with Yu Jia Expressway (pile number K48+686) at Yujiaheige Ashe Interchange, and then with Yu Jia Expressway. After crossing the peak of Shizui, the line will be erected along the ditch, pass through Zhujiashan, Guojia 'gelao and Tuojiajian, turn south at Miaogelao, pass through Liujiamao, pass through Wang Jiagou and Yanping to Wuzhen, set up a tunnel to cross the south side of Wuzhen, and then set up a line parallel to Yoga Yu Mi Highway, and turn back to the ditch to the west through Gaojia Yezi and Chenjiazhai. The total length of the route is 146.034 km, of which the construction mileage is 1 19.099 km (Yu Jia Expressway * * *)26.935km. It is planned to set up 8 interchanges (4 hubs). At present, the project has completed the bidding and publicity of survey and design, and the construction started on 20 13. It is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 20 16, with a construction period of 4 years.
Shen-Mi Expressway-Construction Significance
With the development of Shenmu energy and chemical industry, the contact between six counties in the north and six counties in the south of Yulin City has gradually increased, and the original roads can no longer meet the existing transportation needs. Shenmi Expressway is expected to start construction next year with a construction period of 4 years. After completion, the journey between the two is expected to be shortened to less than 2 hours. The traffic from Shenmu to Mizhi is saturated. At present, in Shenmu-Mizhi area, * * * has three highways to undertake transportation tasks. With the continuous development of economy, these roads have reached saturation. Shenmu-Pantang Highway is the main transportation channel of coal in Shenmu County, and its freight vehicles account for about 90% of the traffic volume in this section. Provincial Highway 204 is an important highway passage between Yulin City and Shenmu County, and the traffic volume is also increasing. Another highway in this area is National Highway 2 10. Due to the traffic control of Shen Xing Yellow River Bridge, a large number of vehicles are diverted to National Highway 2 10, passing through Mizhi and Suide, and leaving the province from Wubao Yellow River Bridge, resulting in a sharp increase of large trucks in the southern section of National Highway 2 10 in Yulin.
After it is completed and opened to traffic, Shenmi rice noodles can reach Shenmu within 2 hours from Mizhi, which will bring great convenience to the citizens who travel between Shenmu and Mizhi. Shenmi rice noodle is a north-south longitudinal connecting line in the planning of "2367" expressway network in Shaanxi Province. The Shenmu-Mizhi section to be built soon is the southern section of this line, connecting the completed Yulin-Shenmu section, the Yulin-Jiaxian section under construction and the Yulin-Suide expressway.
The completion of Shenmi Expressway will help to further improve the expressway network in Shaanxi Province, form a new longitudinal passage connecting north and south in the central and eastern parts of northern Shaanxi as soon as possible, relieve the pressure of coal transportation, and provide important traffic support for economic development along the line.
