Three Aspects of Chapter 28 of Xiu De Vernacular Tao Te Ching

It is a world trend to know his man and keep his woman. For the world stream, Changde never gives up and returns to the baby. Know its white, keep its black, for the world, for the world, Changde is special, and it is endless. Knowing its glory and keeping its shame is Amagai. For Amagai, Changde is enough, returning to the park. Park scattered for the device, saints use it, is an official, so the big system is not cut.

Born to be human, study and work are indispensable. Learning from nature, understanding the world and exploring nature are "enlightenment". Then work according to Tao, that is, Tao and Xiu De. So the Tao Te Ching only says two things, what is Tao and how to fix it.

In this chapter, Laozi summed up three aspects of "Xiu De": First, physical cultivation, such as health preservation, is traditionally called "health preservation"; The second is to cultivate the mind, such as "cultivating the mind", which is traditionally called the cultivation of "sex", and the cultivation of "sex" and "destiny" is "double cultivation of life", both of which are methods of birth, focusing on self-cultivation and moral cultivation; The third is the practice of behavior, focusing on practical activities in natural society, which is the law of joining WTO after physical exercise. Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism and contemporary education are carried out in this order: self-cultivation after birth and practice after entering the WTO. Such as: young at home, studying at school, old and determined to step into society.

Physical cultivation is what Laozi said: "Knowing men and keeping women is a world trend. For the world, Changde will not leave, and it will be a baby. " This sentence focuses on the words "male", "female" and "flow". "Male" is yang and lies in divergence; "Female" is yin, which lies in convergence. When the harvest comes and goes, it comes and goes, just like an endless "stream", which flows away and comes back through atmospheric precipitation and underground spring water. This is the "flow", which comes and goes endlessly.

Therefore, self-cultivation means giving and taking, receiving and sending. Only the balance of yin and yang can be endless. What you eat should be discharged, and what you inhale should be exhaled. If you can't get in, there will be problems, constipation can't discharge feces, fever can't discharge sweat, flatulence can't discharge gas. Make it up when you leave the hospital. Eat when you are hungry, drink when you are thirsty, and rest when you are tired. Inside the body, the cardiovascular system is also relaxing, the nerves are also relaxing, and the lungs are also breathing ... Therefore, when people are too nervous, the muscles are tight, which restricts the activities of fascia muscles, just like nervous shortness of breath, and external energy cannot enter, so it is blocked; People are too relaxed. As soon as their muscles are scattered, their sense of strength is gone, their energy is not released, and they are lazy. Therefore, if it is too loose, it is necessary to tighten it, and it is necessary to restrain it, just like a big belly, loose and inadequate diet; If you are too nervous, you should relax, just like a pimple on your limbs, and it is difficult for your muscles to relax.

Therefore, the cultivation of the body is to have in and out, loose and tight, open and close, and send and receive freely. Only in this way can the body be like a baby, with soft body, tender skin and infinite strength and vitality ... this is the "virtue" of health preservation. The correction in my mind is what Laozi said: "Know its white, keep its black, be the world wind, be the world wind, Changde is special, and return to infinity." "White" means yang, which means clarity, while "black" means cloudy turbidity. "Different" means clear, and "indistinguishable" means turbid. The world is one integrated mass. Qingming makes people know "Jingwei" and understand the roots and details. Turbidity makes people know that "Jingwei River meets", with clear direction and overall clarity. Every moment, every detail is to better understand the whole world and the changes of the world, just as microphysics will eventually return to macro cosmology, just as microscopic cytology will eventually return to biology.

Therefore, the clearer things are, the more people can see the "white", the more they should keep the "black" whole, the more they should understand the operation of the whole and put the details into the whole. This is the "world style" of "black and white", as we often say "not easy to confuse". Is it really "confused"? No, "confusion" means looking at everything from a broader and longer-term perspective, thus diluting the gains and losses of the moment. In this way, taking the whole as a whole and taking the "world style" as the "world style", whether it is twists and turns or failure, it is only the tip of the world circulation, so it is "returning to infinity". "Infinite", no four, round trip, so infinite.

When we combine "mind" with "body", from the perspective of "life accomplishment":

"Heart" is yang, which represents the divergence of thoughts. Divergence can be distinguished, so we can distinguish between black and white, but when divergence is large, it becomes delusion. Just like our thoughts, we worked hard for a while, but we accidentally thought of troubles and daydreamed, so we said "unconstrained style" and "spiritually", so we said "the past". If we think too much, our minds will converge less and the balance of Yin and Yang will be destroyed.

"Body" is yin, which represents the convergence of the body. We need to absorb external energy to ensure the normal operation of the body, such as drinking water, breathing and eating. However, when drinking, we want to drink some wine, when smoking, we want to order perfume cigarettes, when eating, we want to taste all the delicious food in the world, and we want to collect money, things and people's hearts. In this way, if you act rashly, there will be fewer rules of behavior and the balance of yin and yang in your body will be destroyed.

If you think too much, you will have less time to concentrate on your work, and you will be relieved. Think about whether your ideal is too ambitious? See if you are competent for your own ideas. See if your body can hold on. Let the inner thoughts return to the natural duty, return to the objective reality, and let the heart become the "original heart". When divergent thoughts are closely combined with the objective reality of the whole body, "body" and "heart" are integrated and yin and yang are balanced.

Similarly, if the body is not satisfied easily, it will be trapped by the eyes, ears, nose and tongue, and the duty of the body to "strengthen the abdomen" will be forgotten. People will be unclean, and the body will become a slave to foreign objects' lust. Five strains and seven injuries have come, and they are much more willful. They need to restrain their words and deeds. Think about your initial heart, look at your body, look at your behavior, and then look at the surrounding environment. Has the "initial heart" of making money to support the family become a simple "desperate money" and neglected one's home? Has the "initial heart" that once aspired to serve the country become "muddling along" and forgotten its own country? So, find your true heart and initial heart, and restrain your physical desires with your heart. In this way, your body and mind will be one, and yin and yang will be balanced.

When divergent "mind" is constrained by its own environment, it will be solid and objective, and it will form "meaning", and the pragmatism of mind is "meaning". When the body is reckless and guided by the "heart", the action has a goal, and "ambition" is formed, and the direction of action is "ambition". Then, the heart is used in one place and the force is used in one place. The balance between the Yang of the heart and the Yin of the body becomes a kind of "will".

And this kind of will is the key to enter the society and do one's duty, that is, Lao Tzu's behavior practice. He said, "It is for Amagai to know his honor and keep his shame. For Tiangai, Changde is enough and simple. " "Valley" is the same as the "stream" mentioned above. When a person overcomes the desire of physical objects and the daydream of emotional feelings, he naturally overcomes the gain and loss of honor and disgrace. What about honor and disgrace? What about gains and losses? If I don't change my mind, I am determined to win. The gain and loss of honor and disgrace is just an episode of my unswerving determination, so why care? Yin and yang go back and forth, and there is a cycle. Glory is glory, humiliation is humiliation. What I want, what I mean, what I mean, don't forget your initiative, be determined to move forward, be proud or ashamed, and always be complacent. As the saying goes, "treating diseases without money" aims at treating diseases, and money should be put aside.

When the body, mind and behavior can be freely sent and received, and the yin and yang are balanced, the virtue will be perfect, so Lao Tzu summed it up as "Changde is enough, returning to simplicity." The uncut wood of "Park" is naturally the original appearance. If "gone with the wind" disappears, it is "Yin and Yang", which is the method of self-cultivation, cultivation and practice mentioned above, which is "Qi". We say that a person's "measure" is nothing more than a balance of mind and nature, which can be resolved through one yin and one yang; We say that a person is a late bloomer because he knows the way of Yin and Yang. Therefore, Xiu De's methods are all in "Yin and Yang", so "if a sage uses them, he will be an official, so the system will not be cut", and "no cutting" will not distinguish between Yin and Yang.
