Draft direction: Generally, there are dermatoglyphics on the inner surface of interior decoration, and dermatoglyphics also have draft angles, and different dermatoglyphics have different draft angles. Therefore, while modeling the interior decoration, determine the drawing direction, so that the drawing angle of the inner surface can be initially controlled here, reducing the inconvenience to the structural design and even the loss of rework caused by errors. The draft angle of dermatoglyphics is generally about 3 degrees for fine dermatoglyphics and 5 degrees for coarse dermatoglyphics. Of course, it depends on different dermatoglyphics.
The principle of determining the draft direction of interior decoration: generally, it is the direction of a coordinate axis of the whole vehicle, or the draft direction is in a coordinate plane (that is, perpendicular to a coordinate axis);
4. Determination of the overall appearance parameters of the interior decoration: The overall appearance parameters of the interior decoration mainly include the gap between guard plates, section difference, parting line, etc. These parameters directly affect the overall appearance quality of interior decoration; These parameters are determined by the reasonable installation structure and production technology level, so at the beginning of modeling, these parameters should be determined reasonably with the modeling, which can not only coordinate the overall appearance, but also design the installation structure reasonably.
Second, the installation structure preliminary analysis to determine:

For the installation method of interior and body, the main requirements are simple, fast, firm and reliable installation. Generally, the snap connection is used for installation. It's almost a year since I graduated from college in July. As a newcomer to the body design industry, due to various reasons, I didn't start from my younger brother as I thought, but boasted with us that I was responsible for some design tasks of the large floor assembly in white body of a vehicle project and the beam system of the floor.
Car design may have been a mystery to me a year ago, but now I feel more like a manual job. Of course, I feel there is still a big gap between myself and senior engineers, and this gap is also the direction of my future efforts.
The following is my experience as a novice for one year. I write casually, hoping to give some experience to people who want to enter the field of body design in the future, and also want to exchange my work experience and experience with people who have similar experiences with me.
First of all, we need to master basic skills before designing.
1. Understand the contents of body design.
Speaking of body design, at least you know what to design. Generally speaking, body design mainly refers to body in white, which can be roughly divided into door cover system, side wall system and floor system. An elite design team, I think 8~9 people can handle BIW projects with workload like cars (a very strong team with cooperation experience). I don't know much about the interior system, so the content introduced is mainly the sheet metal part in the white body except the interior.
2. Training and use of software
At present, the body design software mainly uses catia and UG. I use catia. For catia, to master GSD and partdesign modules, product modules and point cloud operation modules, some freestyle commands will be used. Finally, according to the individual's different division of labor, master some special modules needed by the system, such as DMU related modules needed by the door cover system.
If you have achieved the above two points, congratulations, just like a computer, you have your hardware system, which is really the baptism of design concept, experience and project.
Second, briefly review my work experience in the past year (in chronological order)
1. First month of work
Obviously, the first month of our new job was mainly spent in training. The first is the training of catia software, so I won't say much here. What I want to say here is my personal experience in mastering this software. If you haven't been exposed to catia before, I recommend learning from books with examples and introducing practical examples according to the steps of those books. Doing more examples will give you a general understanding of the software.
After this stage (when you feel that you need to know the reasons for drawing the examples in the book and want to know more about the principle of commands), I recommend you to read a book or catia help that specifically introduces catia commands. In a word, this kind of thing, software, is easy to master but difficult to master, and needs a lot of experience accumulation.
After studying software for more than half a month, I went on a business trip and experienced a disassembly project of body in white. It was at this time that I first came into contact with the schedule. From now on, progress is an indispensable thing in design, which is very important! Because of a big floor assembly, the first feeling of the big floor list is extremely annoying.
This business trip is also the first time in my life. I feel tired. I work until ten o'clock every day, and the most exaggerated time is after 12. Dismantling the body-in-white is a mental and physical job. This time, with the help of my colleagues, I not only finished the detailed list of the big floor independently, but also realized the metalworking work, hitting the solder joints with a drill, marking the solder joints with a paint pen, and flattening the deformed metal pieces with a big iron block ... Hehe, it seems quite fun. Disassembling the body-in-white is mainly to provide customers with some welding sequence we know about the prototype car and provide a comparison list.
2. A month later, until now.
During this time, I was busy modeling the floor structure of the whole vehicle project.

Third, some of my main experiences.
1. For a newcomer, the design work must first like him, with a correct attitude, rigorous work and perfect mathematical model. Only in this way can we achieve a better state.
2. Software is very important, but not the most important. What really matters is the design concept, experience and design ideas. For a single piece, it may be ok for us to follow the point cloud, but the relationship between parts welding and the role of various features should be considered when modeling.
3. It is very important to know the tree shape in the early stage, especially for newcomers. We should look at the single piece from the perspective of assembly, and even to a certain extent, we should consciously consider the welding problem, necessary process problems and so on when building the single piece.

Personally, I think the size of steel frame should be signed by the person in charge in the future. It must be accurate. Those who have done well in the past should do better, those who have done badly in the past should be improved in time, and similar mistakes cannot be made again next time.
3. Northeast XXX and XXX lotus incarnations. In this project, the main problem is that the outsourcing unit did not make the finished product according to the overall feeling and artistic effect in the small draft. Slight deviation. Maybe we didn't convey enough ideas. In the future, we must strengthen communication, convey artistic ideas and explain the overall performance of the works in detail.
