How to choose the flow and lift of the pump

First consider the flow and lift. How many volumes of water should be sent per minute to how high and how far, and appropriate flow rate and lift are needed. The lift required by the pump is not only related to the height and distance of water delivery, but also related to the pipe diameter. Pump lift is determined by the following formula:

1. Determine the pipe diameter according to the flow rate and considering the reasonable flow rate: d = [4q/(3.1416v)] (1/2).

2. Determine the specific resistance of the pipeline according to the pipe material and pipe diameter: S =10.3N2/D5.33..

3. According to the water delivery height h (static head) and the pipe length l, calculate the appropriate lift of the pump: H = H+SLQ 2. If the pipeline of the pump is not very long, and the local head loss should be considered, then the second term is multiplied by the coefficient 1. 1~ 1.2, that is, H = H+(65438).

Before the water pump is started, both the pump and the water inlet pipe are filled with water. After the water pump runs, the water in the impeller wheel is thrown around and pressed into the volute, and a vacuum is formed at the impeller inlet. The water in the pool is sucked away along the suction pipe under the external atmospheric pressure to supplement this space. Then the sucked water is thrown out by the impeller and enters the outlet pipe through the volute.

It can be seen that if the impeller of centrifugal pump keeps rotating, it can continuously absorb and press water, and the water can be continuously lifted from a low place to a high place or a far place.
