Ren Fu's research fields and interests

In recent years, around the discipline development strategy of the college, in the scientific research practice, driven by personal professional interests, a relatively fixed research direction has gradually formed from three aspects: theory, application and engineering:

First: the direction of theoretical research.

Engaged in theoretical research of micro-map linguistics. This paper studies the new thinking brought by linguistics as a methodology to the theoretical innovation of cartography. This paper makes a comparative study of natural language and map from the perspective of semiotics, constructs a semantic transformation framework between them, and finally establishes a complete natural language expression model of spatial information.

Second: applied research direction

The application of spatial analysis and geostatistics methods in geological disasters (such as landslide susceptibility mapping) and urban public health (such as disease mapping) is studied. In view of regions or cities in China, the spatial analysis method of GIS and spatial epidemiology method are combined to reveal the spatial aggregation and distribution law of local chronic diseases or various infectious diseases through a series of thematic maps, and then explore the geographical factors of their incidence, and finally provide decision-making basis for the spatial allocation of medical facilities and the allocation of medical talents.

Third: the direction of engineering research and development

Engaged in the top-level design of geospatial information sharing platform and the development of online dynamic thematic map software, providing socialized services for industrial units in Beijing, Tianjin, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan and Hefei. On the one hand, based on SOA concept, advanced technologies of cloud computing and big data, this paper studies the strategic planning, overall design, standard system, technical architecture, application services and implementation scheme of digital city geographic information public service platform. On the other hand, the online dynamic thematic mapping software telem 20 12 for desktop Web and mobile Internet is developed, and the dynamic generation engine of thematic symbols is designed and completed, which has been successfully applied in many industries such as social economy, natural disasters and real estate evaluation. It provides a fast channel for the dynamic mapping of geographical national conditions monitoring data.
