Royal Cromwell Air Force Academy is the oldest military flight academy in the world. There are educational institutions such as the third flight training school, the central flight school, the basic flight training headquarters and the special ground training department. It also manages four training bases and 16 aviation training squadrons in colleges and universities all over the country.
The Royal Cromwell Air Force Academy is affiliated to the Air Force Personnel and Training Command, and its principal is the rank of Major General. The Committee on Recruitment, Selection and Initial Officer Training is responsible for recruiting and selecting pilots from high school students, college graduates and university aviation teams, arranging various physical examinations and examinations for them, and conducting initial officer training for these students. The Special Ground Training Department mainly provides initial training and continuing training for the engineering and supply officers of the Royal Air Force.
