Jingdezhen Health School was founded in 1958, formerly known as Jingdezhen Medical College, and located at No.317, Zhonghua North Road. Since its establishment more than 50 years ago, the school has set up nursing, physician, public health, traditional Chinese medicine, maternal and child, midwifery, pharmacy and laboratory, among which 1978 opened Jingdezhen class of Shangrao Branch of Jiangxi Medical College, 20 10 added rural medicine, and 20 13 cooperated with Jiangxi Medical College to open 3+2 specialty.
The school now covers an area of more than 30,406 square meters, and the teaching building covers an area of more than 20,000 square meters. It has a teaching building, a training building, a library, a student apartment, a canteen complex, a 200m sports ground, a fully functional laboratory, a multimedia teaching classroom, a language lab, a campus network, security monitoring and a campus broadcasting system.
