Haizhu District is located in the south of Guangzhou, facing Liwan District, Yuexiu District and Tianhe District across the river in the north, and facing Huangpu District, Liwan District (formerly Fangcun) and Panyu District in the east, west and south respectively. Haizhu District belongs to Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, with a total area of 92 square kilometers.
By 2022, there will be 18 administrative streets and 265 community neighborhood committees in Haizhu District. Haizhu District is located in the south of Guangzhou, surrounded by the Guangzhou section of the Pearl River, facing Liwan, Yuexiu, Dongshan and Tianhe District across the river in the north, and facing Huangpu, Fangcun and Panyu District in the east, west and south respectively. The climate in Haizhu District belongs to the south subtropical maritime monsoon climate.
