Weihai Station is located in Zhanlu Road, Weihai Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shandong Province, China. It is a railway station under the jurisdiction of Weihai Local Railway Development Center and China Railway Jinan Bureau Group Co., Ltd., the terminal of Tao Wei Railway and one of the starting stations of Qingrong Intercity Railway.
Weihai Station was founded in 1988. 20 13 May, the first phase of Weihai Station Transportation Hub Project started construction, including the square in front of the station and the comprehensive passenger terminal building. On June 28th, 20 15, with the opening and operation of Qingrong Intercity Railway, the new station building of Weihai Station was put into use.
general layout
Weihai station building sits west to east and is divided into three functional areas: office area, waiting hall and equipment area. Weihai station building has two floors. In the middle of the first floor is the waiting hall for the Wen Rong-oriented bullet train. Passengers can check in directly and go to the platform. The ticketing hall is located on the north side of the first floor of the station building, and the baggage claim hall is located on the south side.
The waiting hall on the second floor is mainly used by passengers who take bullet trains in Jinan, Beijing and Shanghai outside Wen Rong, and passengers who take ordinary trains also wait in this waiting hall. After boarding here, passengers will go to the relevant platform via the passenger overpass to wait for the bus.
