A-B (Huang Wei) expressway is a C-D highway in the national key highway planning. From the point of morphological origin, this bid section belongs to folded and denuded Zhongshan, which is composed of medium-deep metamorphic rocks from Upper Archean to Proterozoic. However, due to the frequent activities and confrontation of cold and warm air masses, the terrain is complex and diverse, and natural disasters such as drought, waterlogging, wind and hail often occur. The area along the line belongs to the Huaihe River system. The main surface water bodies are Mozitan Reservoir and Taiyang River. Flood disasters in this area mostly occur in rainy season, and water resources are relatively poor. The main groundwater includes loose rock pore water, bedrock fissure water and red bed pore fissure water, and all kinds of groundwater are basically non-corrosive to concrete.
