The transfer process is as follows: the transfer school (the first school) initiates the transfer application and checks it, the transfer school (the other school) checks it, and both schools check it with the education authorities. Local education administrative departments and schools should provide necessary guarantee conditions for student status management, equip or designate student status administrators, improve the management system, and establish a working mechanism to ensure that the procedures for student status change are complete, and the basic information of students and the information for student status change are accurate. According to the law, if a student transfers to another school or enters a higher school, it shall start the student registration transfer procedure through the electronic student status system, which shall be verified by the transfer school and the school registration authorities of both parties. The transfer-in and transfer-out schools and the school registration departments of both parties shall complete the transfer of student registration within 10 working days respectively. After the transfer of student status, the transferring school should transfer the student status file in time and settle it within 1 month. After a student transfers to another school or enters a higher school, the transfer to the school shall be based on the student status file received. Students from special education schools are transferred to ordinary schools, or disabled students from ordinary schools are transferred to special education schools, and their school status can be transferred to new schools or retained in the original schools. Whether the students who enter the reform school are transferred to the reform school shall be decided by the original school through consultation with the parents or other guardians of the students. The transfer-in and transfer-out of students in schools directly under the jurisdiction of provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and schools directly under the jurisdiction of districts shall be informed in writing by the school to the local county (district) education administrative department every semester. Students who drop out of school shall submit a written application by their parents or other guardians, and report to the school registration department through the electronic student status system after being examined and approved by the school. When resuming school, the school should handle the relevant formalities in time. During the period of suspension, the school should retain its student status. Students studying abroad shall go through the relevant formalities at the present school with valid certificates. If you still receive basic education after returning to China, you should continue the original student status file.
