Airport construction
Tianshui Airport started construction in June 5438+February, 2007, and the main works of terminal building, comprehensive office building, central substation and production business building have all been completed. Airport history
In 2000, the preparatory work of Tianshui civil aviation was put on the agenda. In 2002, the Central Military Commission and the State Council approved the plan to use the Air Force's Tianshui Airport, implemented the combination of military and civilian use, and opened Tianshui civil aviation. Air Force Tianshui Airport is an air force secondary airport, located between Qinzhou District and Maiji District of Tianshui City, 3 kilometers away from Qinzhou District/KLOC-0 and 3 kilometers away from Maiji District. The main roads connecting the two areas, Huang Xi Avenue and Tianmai Expressway, pass through the north and south sides of the airport respectively, and the airport approach road is connected with Huang Xi Avenue, so the traffic is very convenient. The existing runway of the airport is 2800 meters long and 45 meters wide, with the thickness of cement concrete pavement of 22.24 cm and PNC value of 20. The airport is equipped with control tower and air traffic control tower, with simple navigation facilities and one-way take-off and landing, which can basically meet the requirements of civil regional aircraft. The reconstruction project of Tianshui Airport is a key project and a window project for opening to the outside world during the 11th Five-Year Plan period. On June 17, 2007, Tianshui Municipal Government signed an agreement with Western Airport Group Corporation to transfer the construction and operation management of Tianshui Airport Project to Western Airport Group Corporation as a whole. With the strong support of Lanzhou Military Region Air Force and Northwest Civil Aviation Administration, the construction was officially started on February 7, 2007. Tianshui airport terminal building project, comprehensive office building, central substation and the main project of production and business premises, site greening, interior decoration and other construction projects have been fully completed. The newly-built terminal building is 2 158 square meters, the comprehensive business building 1400 square meters, the production business building is 679 square meters, the central substation is 264 square meters, the apron is 9300 square meters, and there is a connecting road. The project has passed the preliminary acceptance of communication and navigation, meteorological engineering acceptance and special acceptance of fire fighting system organized by Northwest Regional Administration of Civil Aviation. All airport staff are in place, with standardized certificates and good business skills, and it officially set sail on September 28, 2008.
Hardware facilities
Tianshui Airport is a 3C-class regional airport, which can operate 30 to 70 aircraft, including CRJ 200, EMB 145 and Dongfang 328. Its reconstruction and expansion project is one of the airport construction projects listed in the national "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" civil aviation planning.
