Tin ware has a long history, dating back to 3700 BC. In ancient times, people often put tin blocks at the bottom of the well to purify water, which is the mainstream metal of the people. Dongyang tin art originated in the Ming Dynasty. Almost every household in Dongyang _ Lu Cun can make tin ware, which is a big industry in the village. Dongyang folk used to eat small pots of warm rice wine at banquets, and the pots and candlesticks used at weddings were all tin, mostly from the hands of _ Shandong Westerners.

To make a tin ware, we must go through many processes, such as melting tin, pressing, cutting, welding, polishing, hammering and carving. Every step should be meticulous and careless. When welding, the process should be skilled, and the joint should be welded firmly with a welding gun, smooth, seamless and thorough. The quality of welding directly affects the final forming quality of tin products. When polishing, different tools are needed to trim the uneven surface to make the tin bright and smooth.
