Rizo expressway is 375 kilometers long, passing through Zhangjiakou, Chongli, Guyuan, Datan and Fengning to Chengde. Chengde section starts from Chengchi expressway Single Tower Interchange, passes through Hongqi, Erdaohe, Taipingzhuang, Fengshan, Xuanjiangying, Tuchengzi, Lamashan, Tanjiagou and Hujiayingzi to the west, and connects with Zhangjiakou section of expressway, Rizo at Datan, with a total length of 203.583km and a design speed of100km. According to the plan, the section from Fengning to Rizo (more than 70km) was completed in 20 15, and the section from Chengde to Fengning (130km) was completed in 20 16.

After more than three years of hard preparatory work, the foundation stone of 201kloc-0/65438 was laid on February 30th. The main line of the project starts from the north of Dantazi Village, Shuangluan District, Chengde City, and passes through Xiaoying Town and Hongqi Town of Luanping County. Longhua Town, Taipingzhuang Township in Longhua County, Fengshan Town, Xiguanying Town and Tucheng Town in Fengning County stop at Zhangchengjie, datan town City, Fengning County, with a total length of 204 kilometers, two-way four-lane standard, design speed 100km/h, and the approved estimated total investment is 25.8 billion yuan. The project has set up eight service-oriented interchanges in Shantazi, Hongqi, Longhua, Fengshan, Xiguanying, Nanguan, Fengning and Datan to connect with local traffic.

On March 25th, 20 13, the Chengde section of Rizo Expressway started construction in an all-round way, and it is expected that the whole line will be opened to traffic in 20 16.
It is understood that the starting point of Zhangjiakou section in expressway, Rizo is connected with Beijing-Tibet Expressway, and the 62km to Chongli has been completed and opened to traffic on September 20 10. The remaining 100km from Chongli to Zhangcheng Street is under land requisition and demolition, and construction will start on 20 14. Rizo expressway, Jingcheng expressway, Mizhuo expressway, Zhangzhuo expressway and Jinghua (Ying Shao) expressway under construction will form a "Great Outer Ring" around Beijing.
Chengde section of expressway, Rizo is an important part of Chengde's "one ring and eight shots" expressway network. Upon completion, it will become a transportation corridor from Chengde to Tangshan and Qinhuangdao in the east and Shanxi and Inner Mongolia in the west, which is of great significance for strengthening exchanges and cooperation between our city and Shanxi and Inner Mongolia and promoting regional economic development.
There are many famous tourist attractions unique to Bashang along expressway, Rizo, such as the first grassland in northern Beijing in Fengning datan town, the lightning lake in Guyuan County, Zhangjiakou, and Wuhua Meadow, which are adjacent to it. For a long time, because it is difficult to get to these places from Shijiazhuang, few provincial capital tourists go. After the Chengde section of Rizo Expressway is opened to traffic, it takes only half a day from Shijiazhuang to Fengning and Bashang Grassland.
