Putian Xianyou Bangtou Tower
Huaita is located on the hillside behind Qianpucuo, Kunlun Village, Bangtou Town, Xianyou County, Putian City. County-level cultural relics protection units.
Putian Xianyou Tower was built in the fourth year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (163 1) and was initiated by three brothers, Wang Maoqing, Wang Xianqing and Wang Quanqing of Trang Van. According to Wang's genealogy, all three were "born in the city". Because all three are descendants of Wang Xing, they were named "Huaita". The Biography of Wang Dan in the History of the Song Dynasty says: You (Wang You) planted three locusts in court and said, "I want three officials in the afterlife, so that's why I want to be one." After Wang You's second son became prime minister, the world called Wang Xing "Sanhuai".
The pagoda is a stone structure with three hexagonal layers, which looks like a wooden pavilion. It is 20m high and12m wide and covers an area of 0.5mu.. The pagoda has six sides on each floor and two or three eaves, but the eaves are very short. There is a cloister with a platform protected by railings. The tower wall is carved with various reliefs, and the ground floor is divided into north and south. Although there is no door on the second floor, there are birds fighting statues on the north and south sides, and the towers on both sides are carved with patterns. The third floor faces south, northeast and northwest. The top of the tower is made of pig iron, and the top of the gourd is a tower gate, which is about two meters high and connected with the tower edge by chains. Couplets are engraved on both sides of the bottom tower door, and the south gate is: Gong Duxing Huanhuai Ghost Hall is open on all sides, and clouds roll three floors from the tower to meet the peach blossom waves. The words "Man leans on the ground, tower shadows on the sky, and man rides on it" are engraved in the north gate. On the second floor, the couplets on both sides of the statue are "Magpie goes to three neighboring countries and wins the five-color champion". One is "Zhang Gang Quibbi" and the other is "Bai Zi Tian Kai". There is a statue of the emperor in the tower on the third floor, engraved with the couplet "Eight pillars reflect the new sky, and the emperor stars shine;" Sanhuai highland axis, towers and clouds. "
Putian Xianyou Pagoda is carved with various reliefs.
Putian Xianyou Bangtou Tower was renovated in August, 19 (1930). 1950, pagoda foundation collapsed, 1980 repair.
1997, Putian Xianyou Tower was listed as a county-level cultural relics protection unit.
