What engine is equipped with 歼 1 1B? Is it China Taihang or AL-3 1F?

J-1 1B (code: J- 1 1B, English: Shenyang J- 1 1B) fighter is a fighter aircraft developed by China Shenyang Aircraft Industry Corporation after introducing Soviet Union/Russian Soviet Union -27SK. Based on the design of Su -27SK fighter, the domestic integrated fire control system, fully vitrified cockpit, redundant digital fly-by-wire control system and turbofan 10 "Taihang" turbofan engine were replaced.

Another breakthrough of the J-1 1B is that it is equipped with a domestic turbofan engine with 10 thrust. According to foreign reports, China began to develop turbofan X with the core engine of CFM-56 engine obtained from 1986. The engine derived from the core engine of CFM-56 is the F- 1 10 engine of American F-1D fighter, so the turbofan-10 is different from American F-10-GE-in all aspects. In some aspects, it also refers to the related technology of Al-31F. Turbofan X was designed and finalized in 2006 and publicly exhibited at Zhuhai Air Show in 2008. It is reported that the maximum thrust of turbofan X exceeds 130KN, the thrust-to-weight ratio is 7.5, and the bypass ratio is 0.8, which is greater than 0.57 of Al-3 1F, so the fuel consumption is high. Its clothing adopts a three-stage fan with imported variable camber guide vanes, a multi-stage compressor with adjustable stator, a high-pressure turbine with composite cooling technology blades, a low-pressure turbine with bending and torsion combined pneumatic design, an afterburner with parallel inlet partial pressure and oil supply, a continuously adjustable zoom nozzle, and the design of high and low-pressure rotors rotating in the opposite direction. In addition, the engine pays attention to maintainability in design, adopts unit structure design, sets up complete state monitoring means and provides convenient support facilities. These advanced technologies have filled the domestic gap and reached the international advanced level. In addition, the composite external culvert casing used in Taihang engine is the first application of composite technology in domestic aero-engines. The composite outer culvert is 30% lighter than that of welded titanium plate structure, with higher specific strength and stiffness, longer fatigue life and more corrosion resistance. Although some data show that turbofan X has some shortcomings, such as the acceleration, air starting envelope and ground starting time are lower than AL-3 1F, and the quality and reliability are unstable at the initial stage of mass production, it means that China has mastered the development and manufacturing technology of large thrust turbofan engine. From this point of view, its importance to China Air Force and aviation industry is comparable to that of the aircraft itself.
