Huang Jingren (1749— 1783) was born in Wujin, Jiangsu. At the age of four, he lost his father. Because his family was poor, he ran around to make a living in his early years. He used to be a calligrapher in Wuyingdian, and later donated his talents. When he was a candidate, he was forced by the debtor to go to Xi 'an, and the governor of Shaanxi, Bi Yuan, died of illness on the way, at the age of 35. And "being Xuan Ji". Huang Jingren failed in the senior high school entrance examination many times, and he was down and out all his life. The truth of his poor life became the main content of his poems, such as "Too many troubles when he was born" (Mid-Autumn Night Rain), "In the wind of the whole family, clothes are not cut in September" (Doumen Qiu Si) and "Chai Men Snowy Night". However, it is not enough to look at Huang Zhong only in this way. In his poems, he often shows the value of personal dignity and the resulting loneliness. A typical example is "Walking in a Tiger Circle", which describes a tiger training performance he saw in Beijing. By describing this beast, he made various seemingly majestic but actually charming gestures, expressing the deep sorrow that human nature was distorted and lost its natural nature under the compulsion of the ruling power, which has the potential significance of calling for the return of heroic personality. The famous "Miscellaneous Feelings" wrote:
The immortal Buddha didn't make it, only knowing that the night was uneven. The wind shed is full of sad songs, and the mud is stained with poverty and happiness. Nine out of ten people are contemptible, but none of them is a scholar. Don't worry about poetry. Spring birds and autumn insects make their own voices.
Although the mood of this poem is relatively low, but the arrogance of self-esteem and the stubbornness of insisting on making its own voice in the world, we can still feel his indomitable character in the case of tossing and turning. This kind of poetry reflects the revival and strengthening of individual consciousness in literature in Qianlong period.
Huang Jingren's seven-character rhythmic poems (including archaism and rhyme) can best show its unique temperament, and its style is deeply influenced by Tang poetry, but it is ingenious.
Among the ancient poets, Huang Jingren admired Li Bai the most, saying that "my teacher is not public" (Taibai Tomb). Long-term wandering, hardship and well-informed life have also made his poems (especially in the ancient seven dynasties) interesting and strange, and the audience thought that the gods would still be there (Huang Xiang by Hong), especially those poems that describe the magnificent flying scenery to express their bold feelings, which clearly reveal the charm of Li Bai's poems and contain elements of Han Yu and Li He's poems. For example, look at the tide of Qiantang River: "At this time, I saw the Yinshan moving, and its bare shore floated out of the sky. Xue Hao, Yan Jia, the female yin is six knots. "
At the age of twenty-four, he attended a grand party held in Zhu Jun (without Renhe), and an Anhui scholar wrote off "Mr. Renhe and Taibailou feasted and drunk songs" in "Quarrying". In the poem, "the clouds are the same on the river in the sun, and the moths are swept in the Tianmen." The river flows from the loving mother to the rock edge, and the tide flows back to the natural rhinoceros pavilion. " Deliberate and meticulous description and "high-level meeting poems are not worthy of the name." Please throw your poem into the river, you will never flow with Jiangdong. "Xu Xia's confident feelings obviously make people feel the poet's talent. It is said that this poem once made the literati attending the meeting stop writing, which can be compared with the "Tengwangge Fu" of that year.
Huang Jingren's seven-character poems have unique style, natural and elegant language, vivid and novel images, and profound and meticulous expression of feelings, especially with the charm of Li Shangyin's poems in the late Tang Dynasty, such as Nostalgia and Seven Huai. "Independent city bridge people don't know, a week is like a month" ("Guisi New Year's Eve occasionally") wrote lonely feelings, "It seems that this star was not last night, and the wind dew set up the third night for whom" ("Qi Huai") wrote about the suffering of acacia, and they were good at writing melancholy feelings in delicate words, which was touching and unforgettable.
The scope of Huang Jingren's poems is slightly narrow, but this is due to his fate of "Dongye (Meng Jiao) being poor and Chang Xing (Li He) dying" (Preface to Poems of Two Dangxuan in Weiguang Wu).
In his time, he was the most poetic and talented after all, and the deep appeal of his poems has penetrated into modern times.
