Overview of characteristics and application fields of Inconel625;
The alloy is a solid solution strengthened nickel-based deformed superalloy with Mo and Nb as main strengthening elements, which has excellent corrosion resistance and high oxidation performance, good tensile performance and fatigue performance at low temperature to 980℃, and is resistant to stress corrosion in salt spray environment. Therefore, it can be widely used to manufacture aero-engine parts, aero-structural parts and chemical equipment.

Metallographic structure of Inconel625 alloy;
The microstructure of solid solution alloy is austenite matrix and a small amount of TiN, NbC and M6C phases. After long-term aging at 650~900℃, the precipitated phases are γ′, δ, M23C6 and M6C.
Process performance and requirements of Inconel625;
1. The alloy has good cold and hot formability, and the heating temperature for ingot forging is 1 120℃.
2. The average grain size of the alloy is closely related to the deformation degree of forgings and the final forging temperature.
3. The alloy has good weldability, and can be welded by TIG welding or the alloy as filler in a protective atmosphere, or by brazing and resistance seam welding.
4. Surface treatment process: When removing the oxide scale on the alloy surface, wash it with alkali first, and then wash it with nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid-water solution.
5. When the processing capacity of the alloy is greater than 15% during cold working, it should be annealed after hot working.
Inconel625 application fields:
Components of chlorine-containing organic chemical processes, especially when acidic chloride catalysts are used;
Boilers and bleaching tanks for manufacturing pulp and paper industry;
Absorber, reheater, flue gas inlet baffle, fan (wet type), agitator, deflector and flue in flue gas desulfurization system;
Equipment and components used to create an acidic gas environment;
Acetic acid and acetic anhydride reaction generator;
Sulfuric acid condenser, etc.
Inconel625 welding:
It is suggested to use AWA5.14 welding wire ERNiCrMo-3 or AWA5.11covered electrode ENiCrMo-3 to weld Inconel625 alloy.
