The unified examination is adjusted from three items (sitting forward, standing long jump and long-distance running) to four categories:
The first kind of events (choose one of the three independently): football dribbles around the marker; Volleyball mat against the wall; Dribble and layup in basketball.
The second kind of events (choose one of the two independently): pull-ups (boys)/oblique pull-ups (girls); Throw a solid ball with both hands in front of you.
The third category (required): standing long jump.
The fourth category of events (required): 1000 meter race (boys) /800 meter race (girls).
Education administrative departments and educational research institutions will further guide schools to optimize the work arrangements related to physical education teaching, strengthen the monitoring of students' health status, accurately grasp students' physical fitness status, and do a good job in sports risk prevention. According to students' health and physical condition, we should scientifically design teaching content, reasonably arrange extracurricular physical exercise activities, help students recover their physical condition step by step, and guide junior three students to prepare for the exam scientifically, safely and orderly. During the examination, coordinate the health department to send professionals to each test center to carry out medical security services, and equip them with medical emergency equipment to ensure the safety and stability of the physical examination of the senior high school entrance examination.
Due to the epidemic situation, most students in grade three are affected and their physical fitness has not fully recovered. In order to implement the educational concept of "health first" and ensure students' safety and health, according to the requirements of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Education on scientifically adjusting the examination items and scoring methods of physical education examinations, we decided to make appropriate adjustments to the physical education examination for the senior high school entrance examination in Chengdu in 2023 by arranging students' health status, fully investigating and soliciting opinions, and organizing experts in preventive medicine, clinical medicine and sports medicine to hold special discussions and demonstrations.
