"The sun and the moon have two eyes of heaven and earth, and poetry and books have sages."
Simply analyze these two couplets.
Tieweng Temple, a garden in Daming Lake Garden in Jinan, is embedded here. The famous couplet has lotus willows on three sides, one city has mountains and half cities, the cold spring recommends autumn chrysanthemums, and the boat wears lotus flowers for three nights. Tie Bao, a calligrapher in the Qing Dynasty, also left a famous sentence "Lotus and willow on three sides, a city with mountains and half a city", which vividly showed the beauty of Daming Lake in the north of Jinan. It accounts for almost a quarter of the old city. Daming Lake Park has a long history and beautiful scenery. The sun is thick, the lotus is full of pools, and all kinds of pavilions are dotted. The water near the distant mountains and the clear sky blend together like a huge color map. This is a picture of Lushan Mountain in Jiangxi written by Zhu, a thinker, educator and writer in the Song Dynasty.
Couplets mean that the sun and the moon shine on the heavens and the earth, and people are sanctified by reading.
The first couplet takes the sun and the moon as a metaphor, which makes the blazing sun clean.
The bright moon is hailed as two bright eyes of heaven and earth, always watching people's audio-visual, words and deeds. Therefore, a person must be tactful.
To greed, aboveboard.
The sages referred to in the second couplet are people with extremely high moral ability.
Poetry is the crystallization of sages' wisdom. Couplets warn people that only by reading ten thousand volumes of poems can we understand the hearts of sages, purify people's hearts and reach the realm expected by sages. From the point of view of health care, they should conform to nature.
Reading is also a way to keep fit.
