There are rectangular and arched windows on the outer wall, and the roof is the top of four slopes with red tiles, which is rich in European customs. There are some small bonsai in the yard, and climbing plants are crawling around the walls. Speaking of spring, green is everywhere. The interior is Lu 'an wood floor, teak wall, and the plaster flower decoration on the ceiling is very delicate. Besides, there is an elegant fireplace in the room. This house was built by Zhu Baoshan, an industrialist in old Shanghai. In 1930s, Liu Haisu rented it from others and lived here until his death. After Liu Haisu's death, his wife Sheikh never lived here again. The ground floor of Liu Haisu's former residence was once occupied by Mr. Liu Zhuoru, nephew of Liu Haisu and librarian of Shanghai Literature and History Research Institute.
