brief introduction
The total length of Xiyan Railway is 332.072 kilometers, starting from Xinfeng Station of Longhai Line in the south and ending at Yan 'an Station of Shenyan Line in the north. Passing through Lintong District, yanliang district, Fuping County, pucheng county, Baishui County, yijun county, huangling county, Luochuan County, Fuxian County, Ganquan County and Baota District 1 1 district (county). As early as 1973, the construction of Xiyan Railway started. After a 24-year construction period, the whole line was completed and put into operation in August 1997. The capacity expansion and transformation adopts national railway I standard, diesel locomotive traction and reserved electrification conditions.
Xiyan Railway, Baoxi Railway, Xikang Railway, Xiangyu Railway, Sichuan-Guizhou Railway and Guizhou-Guangxi Railway constitute the "Liu Bao Passage" in the north-south direction of the western region, which is an important part of the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" architectural layout of the main skeleton of China railway network. The capacity expansion and reconstruction project of Xiyan Railway was listed as the sixth batch of large and medium-sized fixed assets investment projects by the National Development and Reform Commission in 2006. It is the key section of Shaanxi railway "backbone" and one of the top ten coal transportation channels to be built in the railway leap-forward development strategy.

Xiyan section
West extension starts from Xingfeng Station of Longhai Line in the south and ends at Yan 'an North Station in the north. 1973 started construction,1July 3, 9941completed. The total length of the Xiyan section is 332.972 kilometers, of which 4 1 kilometer of the new (Fengzhen) Zhang (Bridge) section is under the control of the An Railway Bureau, and the total length from Zhongjiacun (excluding) to the northern section of Yan 'an is 284 kilometers, which is a national first-class trunk line (single track) with 259 bridges, with a total length of 23.885 kilometers. Tunnel 103, with a total extension of 59.438+08km; The maximum gradient of the line is12.5 ‰; The minimum curve radius is 400 meters; There are 29 design stations and 24 stations have been opened; The effective length of arrival-departure line is 850m (inclusive) south of Huangling, 650m north of Huangling, 9 stations such as Yan 'an are interlocked by colored lights, and 6502 electric centralized interlocking is adopted at Huangling and other 15 stations. The blocking equipment is semi-automatic blocking of 64D relay; Traction fixed number is 1700 tons upward and 3500 tons downward; The allowable speed of the train is 75 kilometers per hour. The designed annual transportation capacity of Xiyan section is150,000 tons.
Shen Yan part
Shen Yan section starts from Shenmu North Station (excluding) of Baoshen and Shenshuo Railway in the north and ends at Yan 'an North Station of Xiyan Railway in the south. /kloc-0 started construction in may, 1998, and the whole line was paved in April, 2000 1 year, and officially put into operation in April, 20041month. The main line of Shen Yan Railway is 384.67 kilometers long, belonging to the national first-class trunk line (single track), with 249 bridges, with a total length of 49.506 kilometers; There are 26 tunnels, with a total extension of 30.729 kilometers, of which the Daxiaohe tunnel is 62 16 meters long, which is one of the longest tunnels built in loess geology in China. The maximum gradient of the line is12.5 ‰; The minimum curve radius is 450m; There are 35 stations designed for the whole line, of which 19 has been opened and 2 stations have been rebuilt (Yan' an North and Shenmu North); The effective length of the arrival and departure line is 850 meters; The interlocking equipment is 6502 electric centralized; Blocking equipment is semi-automatic with 64D relay; The traction quota is up 1700 tons, down 3500 tons, and the allowed speed of the train is 90 kilometers per hour. The designed annual transportation capacity of Shen Yan section in the near future is14.2 million tons.
Construction engineering
With the approval of the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Railways and Shaanxi Province, the construction of the Baoxi (Bao 'an) Railway Corridor started this year. According to the preliminary construction plan, double-track construction will be carried out from Zhang Qiao to Yan 'an and from Yan 'an to Dabaodang ***56 1 km. From Zhang Qiao to Yan 'an, the 260-kilometer-long high-standard double track will be rebuilt according to the design speed 160-200 km; Yan 'an to Dabao is 30 1 km, and a second line will be built on the existing line according to the same standard. After the completion of the West Extension Railway, the number of railway lines from Yan 'an to Xi 'an will increase to three, and direct flights between the two places can be realized in two hours at the shortest.
The reconstruction project of Yan 'an Railway Station is a part of the construction project of Baotou Railway. According to the design traffic volume of the Ministry of Railways, the maximum number of people is 3,000, and the construction area of the station building will reach 23,940 square meters. The project mainly includes the transformation of the whole station building. The original four air routes were increased to nine, and the original 1 platform 1 aisle was increased to three platforms and three aisles. A canopy without columns has been built and the station square will be rebuilt. According to the plan, this first-class railway station with northwest design standards is expected to be completed within this year. During the reconstruction of Yan 'an Railway Station, Yan 'an North Station in Yangshan will be used as a temporary passenger station.
Yan 'an Station is an important intermediate station of Baoxi Grand Passage. The reconstruction of Yan 'an Railway Station will be planned and designed according to the idea of "not falling behind for a hundred years" put forward by the Ministry of Railways.
