A man met many single women through online chat, deliberately packaged himself as a successful person with a rich family, and defrauded many women10 million yuan during the "love" period. Yesterday, Xicheng police informed that Guo Moumou, a suspect suspected of fraud, was arrested and brought to justice through careful investigation. Guo confessed to his fraud and has been criminally detained according to law.
The police have verified that there are 5 deceived victims, and the amount involved is nearly120,000 yuan. The case is under further work. A few days ago, Ms. Li, the police receiver of Taoranting Police Station of Xicheng Public Security Bureau, reported that since May 2065438+2006, Guo had defrauded his trust in the name of falling in love and getting married, and defrauded him of more than 2 million yuan in cash, and then lost contact.
After receiving the report, the Taoranting police station cracked down on the case-handling team and immediately started work. It was found that from 2065438 to April 2006, Ms. Li met the suspect Guo Moumou through WeChat. Subsequently, the two gradually established a relationship between men and women. 2065438+June 2006, Guo borrowed RMB 1.8 million from Ms. Li on the grounds that she was about to pay the final payment of the house purchase.
Later, from 2065438 to August 2006, she borrowed 420,000 yuan from Ms. Li on the grounds that the decoration of the purchased house would cost money. However, since September this year, Guo Moumou refused to answer Ms. Li's phone, and then the phone was turned off and her whereabouts were unknown. It was found that Guo did not use the loan to buy a house or decorate it, but used it for profligacy. In addition, the police found out that Guo had rented a house in a villa area in Changping District.
The police carried out the observance and successfully arrested Guo Moumou. After examination, the suspect Guo Moumou has been in love with several single women since 2002, during which he defrauded 12 victims 1 10,000 yuan in the name of operating working capital. Guo was sentenced to13,2012 years' parole for fraud in 2004.
After being released from prison, Guo Busi repented and returned to his old job. From 20 15, he "fell in love" with many older women online. After defrauding the other party's trust, he lied that he needed to pay the full amount in advance to do business or buy a house, and asked the other party to mortgage the property, vehicle or personal credit loan.
On the one hand, the money he cheated was used to repay the bank loan, on the other hand, it was used to package himself as a "successful person". In September this year, Guo suffered a huge deficit in funds, and many "girlfriends" asked him for arrears. His identity as a "successful person" was broken and the scam was exposed.
It is understood that the fraud targets selected by Guo Moumou are all older single women living in Beijing. Because they met through the Internet, they were easily deceived by Guo's status as a "successful person" and sweet words. At present, Guo confessed to fraud and was criminally detained by Xicheng police. The police have verified five deceived victims, involving nearly120,000 yuan.
