Tianjin-Jilin Expressway is a landmark project of Tianjin's 2 1 Century and Tenth Five-Year Plan. Jinji Expressway is one of the four vertical lines in Tianjin highway network planning, and it is an important channel connecting Jinyu Highway, Beijing-Shenyang Expressway, Jingha Highway, Beijing-Tianjin Expressway and the northern trunk line of Tianjin.
Jinji Expressway is a fast traffic trunk line from Tianjin to Beijing and Northeast China, and it is also the fastest passage from downtown to Jixian County. It starts from the outer ring in the south and reaches Jixian in the north, passing through Dongli, Beichen, Wuqing, Ninghe and Baodi, with a total length of103km. The design standard is two-way four lanes, and the design speed is120km. Since the project started in April, 20001year, both the project quality and the construction speed have reached a new level. This project is a two-way four-lane expressway, with the designed driving speed of 1.20km/h, subgrade width of 28m, bridge load exceeding grade 20, and checked load of-1.20. Other technical standards shall be implemented according to Technical Standards for Highway Engineering (JTJ00 1-97). There are 7 interchanges, 4 extra-large bridges, 6 bridges, 32 separated interchanges, 76 small and medium-sized bridges, 28 passages and 434 culverts in the whole line of Jinji Expressway.
