Zhengzhou-Shirenshan expressway was the only "Typical Demonstration Project of Survey and Design" of Henan Ministry of Communications in 2005. It is an important part of the "686" expressway construction planning network and the "central radiation line" in the newly planned "two bridges and three roads". It is also an energy tourism channel created by the Henan Provincial Party Committee, the provincial government and the Provincial Communications Department based on the overall economic and social development of the province.
The line passes through 9 counties in 3 prefecture-level cities, 3 1 township and 179 administrative villages, with a total construction mileage of182km. Among them, Zhengzhou-Xuchang section is 8 1 km, the designed subgrade is 28 meters wide, and it is built according to the standard of 6 lanes; Xuchang to Shirenshan section 10 1km, subgrade width is 26 m. It is built according to the standard four lanes. There are 2 extra large bridges, 72 large bridges, 33 medium bridges, 35 overpasses, 55 separated overpasses, culverts 1 17, and overpasses 17. Expressway, Zheng Shi, is a tourist express in Henan Province, with a total length of 182.247 km and four lanes in both directions. The highway starts from Jingzhai in the southwest of Zhengzhou in the north, from Honghua Temple in the southeast to the expressway around Zhengzhou in the southwest, and passes through Xinzheng, Changge, Yuzhou, Jiaxian, Baofeng, Pingdingshan, Lushan and Luanchuan in the southwest to Xixia County of Nanyang City. At the same time, it connects Zhengzhou Southwest Ring Expressway, Xuchang to Dengfeng Expressway, Ningluo Expressway and Erenhot to Guangzhou Expressway.
The section from Shirenshan to Luanchuan is 62.4 kilometers long, adopting the four-lane expressway technical standard, with a design speed of 80 kilometers per hour, an overall subgrade width of 24.5 meters, a separated subgrade width of 2× 12.25 meters, 34 large and medium-sized bridges with a total of 7,366 meters and 7 tunnels/kloc-0. It is estimated that the total investment is 4.607 billion yuan and the construction period is 3 years.
