/kloc-in the autumn of 0/959, under the direct care of Zhou Enlai and Li Kenong, Xie Hegeng returned to Beijing. The cold weather and heavy labor in the Great Northern Wilderness made Xie and Geng suffer from lumbar spondylosis. Have someone give Xie and Geng a stove and let them sleep on the hot kang. In this warm hut in Xiangshan ravine, they spent eight years in rural life. Their material life is hard, but their spirit is self-sufficient. They write for more than ten hours every day, and spend their rest time planting flowers, vegetables and chickens together. When Wang Ying was imprisoned in the United States, he wanted to write a novel based on his personal experience. The names are two Americans: one is an American who is hegemonic and hates China, and the other is an American who has a sense of justice like Pearl Buck and Pued. At the time of writing this book, Wang Ying revised Bao Gu. Someone kindly reminded her not to bother to write such a book, and no one dared to publish it. Hearing this, Dong told him not to worry and to write as usual. When he was well, he went deep into the workers, peasants and soldiers to experience life and write new works.
During my stay in Xiangshan, only a few friends kept in touch with them, and Lao She was one of them. Their friendship began at 1946. Lao She and Cao Yu went to the United States to give lectures, and Wang Ying introduced them to Pearl Buck, saying that Lao She was Dickens of China and Cao Yu was O 'Neill of China. After Lao She finished writing Four Generations under One roof, Wang Ying helped him to contact and publish it in the United States. Since then, they often discuss and communicate in writing. After Xie and Geng returned to Beijing from the Great Northern Wilderness, Lao She was the first person to visit them in Xiangshan. Sometimes, Lao She will stay for the night, and Wang Ying will entertain him with stewed chicken and clam wine from Xie Hegeng's hometown.
1966 At the end of April, Wang Ying revised and completed two manuscripts. He was so excited that he called Lao She to tell him the good news. At nine o'clock the next morning, Lao She came to Xiangshan to congratulate him. He wrote on Xuan paper: "Comrade Wang Ying, you are a poet who doesn't write poetry." After some pleasantries, Lao She talked about the plan that she couldn't finish, and tears rolled down. The three of them were silent for a long time. This is the last time they met. Four months later, Lao She sank into Taiping Lake.
As a "black star" in 1930s, Wang Ying, like most of his contemporaries, was not spared. In 1967, Wang Ying and Xie Hegeng were arrested and detained respectively. Since then, the couple have never heard from each other again. Most people think that the root of this unjust prison is Jiang Qing's envy of Wang Ying for many years, and it is more likely that it is aimed at Zhou Enlai behind them.
Wang Ying's experience in prison is not clearly recorded, except that she was paralyzed in 1970 and could not speak; 1974 died in prison on April 3rd. The body was cremated on the same day without informing any family or friends. A generation of talented female stars, there is no name on the death certificate, only one prisoner code: 6742.
On May 5th, Xie Hegeng was released and learned that Wang Ying had died. He had a stroke on the spot and fell down. After being rescued, he went insane. After more than a year's treatment in Anding Hospital, he gradually recognized acquaintances and recovered his thinking ability. In his later years, Xie Hegeng devoted himself to sorting out and publishing Wang Ying's posthumous works. He buried Wang Ying's ashes in Xiangshan, where artists such as Mei Lanfang and Ma were buried. Xie Hegeng asked people to carve two identical tombstones for Wang Ying, one standing in front of the tomb and the other in his bedroom. 1984 On the 10th anniversary of Wang Ying's death, Xie Hegeng wrote: "We will always be together and never part. Everything in the past and present will be treasured in our hearts. Your life will continue and advance together in my life, and your life will shine in my life. "
