According to the planning requirements, during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, Hubei Province will build a 6,500-kilometer expressway skeleton network, build a 7,069-kilometer pattern of "seven verticals, five horizontals and three rings", and strive to achieve the goal of connecting counties in Hubei Province with expressway. By then, all counties and cities in Wuhan city circle will get on the expressway in 0/5 minutes, and the eco-cultural tourism circle in western Hubei will basically get on the expressway in 30 minutes.

"Seven vertical areas" specifically include:

Longitudinal 1: Macheng to Yangxin. Total length174km. Twelfth Five-Year Plan and Construction.

Longitudinal 2: Macheng to Tongshan. The Hubei section of Daguang Expressway of National expressway Network is 266 kilometers long. The Yangtze River Highway Bridge from Guang Bei to Erdong has been completed158km, and Daguangnan will be completed and opened to traffic within108km.

Vertical three: Dawning to Chibi. The Hubei section of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway of the National expressway Network has a total length of 294 kilometers and has been completed and opened to traffic.

Longitudinal 4: Suizhou to Yueyang. With a total length of 335 kilometers, it has been completed and opened to traffic.

Longitudinal 5: Xiangyang to Public Security. Hubei section of Erguang Expressway of National expressway Network, with a total length of 3 1 1km, has been completed and opened to traffic.

Longitudinal 6: Yunxian to Yichang. The total length is 423 kilometers, and 327 kilometers, such as 10, 10 room and newspaper B, are under construction in expressway.

Vertical 7: Jianshi to Laifeng. Expressway Hubei section from Ankang, Shaanxi to Tieshan Port, Guangxi, with a total length of163km and 86km under construction.

The "five horizons" are specifically:

Yokoshi: Macheng to Zhuxi. It has a total length of 569 kilometers, 20 kilometers of Ma Zhu expressway has been built, and 435 kilometers of expressway such as Huanggang, Xiaogan, Box and Zhu Bao are under construction.

Henger: Macheng to Badong. The Hubei section of Hu Rong expressway, the National expressway Network, is 594 kilometers long, with 42 1 km of Ma Wu, Wujing and Jingyi expressway, and 43/km of Bayexpressway 173 km under construction.

Hengsan: Yingshan to Yunxi. With a total length of 678 kilometers, it has been completed and opened to traffic.

Yoko: Huangmei to Lichuan. The Hubei section of the National expressway Network-Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway, with a total length of 822 kilometers, has been completed and opened to traffic.

Horizontal five: Yangxin to Laifeng. With a total length of 553 kilometers, Hangrui Expressway 156 kilometers has been built, and Jiangnan Expressway 153 kilometers is under construction.

The "three rings" are specifically:

First Ring Road: Jiu Feng, Wuhan to Wujiashan is a fast-track connecting six new urban groups, water ports, airports, bonded ports, logistics parks and industrial parks in Wuhan. Total length 135km.

Second Ring Road: Wuhan Expressway Outer Ring Road is a fast channel to communicate with Wuhan's far city. Full-length 19 1 km, has been completed and opened to traffic.

Ring 3: Wuhan City Circle Expressway Ring Road is an expressway connecting eight cities outside the "1+8" city circle. The total length is 54 1 km, with 150 km built and 296 km under construction.

By the end of 20 14, the total mileage of expressway in the province had reached 5 106 km, and eight expressway, including Wuhan section of Wushen expressway and Dangyang-Zhijiang section of Yichang-Zhangjiajie expressway, had been approved and started construction, with the mileage under construction reaching 2,496 km.

Hubei National expressway:

G4 Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway radiates Dawu, Xiaochang, Xiaogan, Wuhan, Xianning and Chibi;

G45 Daguang Expressway longitudinal lines Macheng, Xinzhou, Tuanfeng, Huangzhou, Xishui, Huangshi and Yangxin;

G55 Erguang Expressway runs through Xiangyang, Yicheng, Jingmen, Jingzhou and Gongan;

G59 Hubei Expressway runs through Yunxian, Shiyan, Fangxian, Baokang, Yuan 'an, Dangyang, Yichang, Zhijiang, Yidu and Wufeng.

G65 Baomao Expressway Enshi, Xuanen and Laifeng longitudinal lines;

G42 Hurong Expressway passes through Macheng, Wuhan, Hanchuan, Yingcheng, Tianmen, Jingshan, Zhongxiang, Jingmen, Yichang, Zigui and Badong;

G50 Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway: Huangmei, Wuxue, Qichun, Xishui, Huangshi, Ezhou, Wuhan, Xiantao, Qianjiang, Jingzhou, Zhijiang, Yichang, Changyang, Badong, Jianshi, Enshi and Lichuan;

G56 Hangrui Expressway runs from Yangxin, Tongshan, Chongyang and Tongcheng;

The horizontal lines of G70 Yin Fu expressway are Huangmei, Wuxue, Qichun, Xishui, Huangshi, Ezhou, Wuhan, Xiaogan, Yunmeng, Anlu, Suizhou, Zaoyang, Xiangyang, Gucheng, Shiyan, Yunxian and Yunxi;

Wuhan, Jiayu, Chibi, Chongyang and Tongcheng parallel lines of Wuhan-Shenzhen Expressway;

G4W2 Guangxu Expressway parallel lines Suizhou, Jingshan, Tianmen, Xiantao and Jianli;

Shanghai-Wuhan Expressway parallel lines Yingshan, Luotian, Huanggang, Tuanfeng, Xinzhou and Wuhan;

G42 13 Ma 'an Expressway Macheng, Hong 'an, Dawu, Guangshui, Suizhou, Zaoyang, Yicheng, Nanzhang, Baokang, Fangxian, Zhushan and Zhuxi;
