National marijuana professional Committee

The National Hemp Professional Committee is a national academic group for hemp crop research. The supporting unit is the Cannabis Research Institute of China Academy of Agricultural Sciences. 1On May 5, 1985, with the approval of China Crops Society, the National Symposium on Cannabis Crops held in the middle of the same year 10 adopted the Articles of Association of Cannabis Professional Committee and elected the first committee. Since its establishment, the specialized committee of cannabis has held three general elections according to the actual situation of cannabis research, production, purchase and sale, personnel changes, etc., and updated the leading group and added members in time, which enabled the work of the specialized committee to be carried out smoothly. At the same time, it extensively absorbs new members and adds fresh blood to the professional Committee. Up to now, the number of members of hemp professional committees has reached 1300. Each member plays a great role in the development of China hemp industry in their respective posts.

Quality supervision of hemp products

The Center for Quality Supervision, Inspection and Testing of Cannabis Products of the Ministry of Agriculture (hereinafter referred to as "the Center") passed the national metrological certification and the examination and approval of the Ministry of Agriculture in June 5438+ 10, 2000, and passed the evaluation and acceptance in 2005 and 2009 respectively. The center has a third-party impartial status and is a non-profit technical service organization. The center is supported by the Cannabis Research Institute of China Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Under the leadership of the Agricultural Products Quality and Safety Administration of the Ministry of Agriculture and the China Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the inspection work is carried out independently.

The tasks of the center are: (1) to undertake the quality supervision and inspection of cannabis products; (two) to undertake the daily monitoring, supervision and spot check, quality investigation, product quality certification and market access inspection of cannabis products issued by the state, local and relevant departments; (three) to undertake the investigation, appraisal and evaluation of accidents and disputes related to hemp products, and to undertake inspection work such as entrustment and arbitration; (four) to carry out research on testing technology, quality and safety and risk assessment, and undertake the revision and verification of national, industrial and local standards; (5) To carry out technical exchange, training, guidance, service and consultation on the quality and safety of hemp products at home and abroad: based on the domestic market, facing the world, leading in science and technology and quality-oriented. We will wholeheartedly develop friendly and cooperative relations with domestic and foreign counterparts, and move towards the goal of legalization of seed management, specialization of seed production, mechanization of seed processing, standardization of seed quality, collectivization of seed management, and integration of breeding and marketing.

National hemp breeding center

The National Hemp Crop Breeding Center, supported by the Hemp Research Institute of China Academy of Agricultural Sciences, is located in the national high-tech industrial park in Yuelu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province, and has established ramie and jute breeding bases in Yuanjiang, Hunan Province, Sanya, Hainan Province and Nanning, Guangxi Province. The Center cooperates with Huazhong Agricultural University, Institute of Economic Crops of Heilongjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, College of Life Sciences of Hunan Normal University and other national key laboratories and nine national scientific research and teaching units participating in the National 863 Project to share research facilities and resources.

The main tasks: engaging in the collection, identification, preservation and utilization of hemp germplasm resources, strengthening the creation of excellent germplasm and the cultivation of new varieties, conducting research on the breeding methods of new varieties of hemp, conducting extensive international cooperation and exchanges, cultivating talents for hemp research and promotion, and establishing an information network system for hemp research and production.

Central purpose: based on domestic, facing the world, leading technology, quality-oriented. We will wholeheartedly develop friendly and cooperative relations with domestic and foreign counterparts, and move towards the goal of legalization of seed management, specialization of seed production, mechanization of seed processing, standardization of seed quality, collectivization of seed management, and integration of breeding and marketing.

National Germplasm Ramie Garden

The National Germplasm Ramie Garden is one of the nine newly-built wild living germplasm resources gardens during the Seventh Five-Year Plan period in China, and now it is one of the 32 national germplasm gardens. The affiliated unit is the Hemp Research Institute of China Academy of Agricultural Sciences, which has become the focus of the world's plant fiber experts. Up to now, there are more than 2,000 sesame germplasm resources of 7 varieties 16 species. On the basis of collecting and sorting out ramie germplasm resources in China, the ramie germplasm in the nursery was comprehensively and systematically identified in botany, agronomic characters, fiber quality and resistance, and a large number of excellent ramie genetic resources were found, collected, identified and preserved, such as apomixis germplasm, less fiber, long internodes, low gum content, high fineness (> 2,500 male branches), high protein, high protein content and high yield. This nursery is not only the living ramie germplasm conservation nursery with the largest number of ramie resources in China, but also the most advanced living ramie germplasm conservation nursery in the world.

The main tasks are: collecting, identifying, preserving, propagating, renewing and utilizing ramie germplasm resources to protect the genetic diversity of ramie plants; Combine modern biotechnology with conventional technology to construct ramie core germplasm and explore and effectively use important genes of ramie; Strengthen the identification and genetic evaluation of main characters of ramie germplasm resources, and continuously provide materials, information and utilization ways for ramie breeding, production and utilization and related basic research.

Engineering microbiology laboratory

Key Open Laboratory is supported by Cannabis Research Institute of China Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Focusing on applied basic and applied technology research, giving consideration to theoretical basic research, providing an innovative platform for genetic improvement of cannabis and sustainable development of engineering microorganisms at home and abroad; Provide new varieties with high yield, high quality and multi-resistance for agricultural production and their supporting cultivation techniques; Providing high-efficiency, energy-saving and environmentally-friendly new technologies (including biological enzyme preparation) for biological pulping, biological degumming and post-finishing of hemp and similar herbs for textile and paper industry; Cultivate senior talents in this discipline.

Mid-term bank of bast germplasm resources

The national medium-term database of hemp germplasm resources is one of the medium-term databases of 13 national special crop resources, and the affiliated unit is the hemp research institute of China Academy of Agricultural Sciences. At present, he is mainly responsible for the basic scientific and technological work and research on the collection, preservation, collation, breeding update, storage, identification and innovative utilization of hemp germplasm resources. China is the country with the most complete variety, the largest quantity and the richest genetic diversity in the world, and its resources attract worldwide attention. By the end of the Ninth Five-Year Plan, 63 14 kinds of hemp resources had been included in the national database, 4,406 kinds of hemp resources had been included in the national long-term database, 5,200 kinds of hemp resources had been included in the medium-term database (1 140 kinds of wild resources), and more than 4,000 kinds of hemp resources had been preserved in different parts of the country. Edited and published three volumes, namely, Catalogue of Cannabis Crops Varieties in China, Catalogue of Cannabis Varieties in China, Catalogue of Flax Varieties in China and Catalogue of Foreign Exchange of Cannabis Resources in China.
