Dry steel-clad reinforcement method is to directly wrap steel or steel plate on the reinforced member, sometimes filled with cement mortar, but this method can not ensure the effective transmission of shear force and tensile force at the joint surface.
The wet steel-clad reinforcement method is to paste steel (angle steel or channel steel) on the four corners of beams and columns with modified epoxy resin glue. Then, hoops (beams) or battens (columns) are connected with longitudinal steel bars to form a steel skeleton, which is connected with the original concrete structure by glue or glue and anchor bolts, so that the added steel skeleton works cooperatively with the original structure under the new load.
