Expansion joints, horizontal curves or intersections with other roads adjacent to buildings shall be set according to the requirements of Technical Guide for Highway Cement Concrete Pavement Design (JTG, D40).

2. Expansion joints of ordinary concrete pavement shall be provided with expansion joint steel brackets, expansion joint plates and dowel bars, and the expansion joint structure is shown in Figure 9. 1.4. Reinforced concrete and steel fiber reinforced concrete pavements may not be provided with steel brackets. The expansion joint is 20 ~ 25mm wide. When using asphalt or plastic film sliding sealing layer, the width of expansion joint plate and joint filling should be widened to 25 ~ 30 mm. More than half of the length of dowel bar should be coated with anti-sticking paint, and the end should wear a movable cap. The material and size of the cover shall conform to the requirements of Article 3. 10.2, paragraph 2. The expansion joint plate should be perpendicular to the road centerline and the joint wall should be vertical; The gap width is consistent; There is no pulp in the seam.
