Legal basis:
Article 21 of the Regulations of People's Republic of China (PRC) Municipality on the Administration of Registration of Market Subjects.
If the applicant applies for registration of the establishment of a market entity and the registration authority registers it according to law, it shall issue a business license. The date of issuance of the business license is the date of establishment of the market entity.
Where laws, administrative regulations or decisions of the State Council stipulate that the establishment of a market entity must be approved, it shall apply to the registration authority for registration within the validity period of the approval document.
Article 22
Business licenses are divided into originals and duplicates, which have the same legal effect.
Electronic business license and paper business license have the same legal effect.
The business license style and electronic business license standard shall be uniformly formulated by the market supervision and management department of the State Council.
