According to the requirements of the National Professional Standard for Marriage and Family Counselors, the scope of work of marriage and family counselors is:

First, love spouse consultation:

First marriage counseling

Through interview or questionnaire evaluation, this paper analyzes the personality characteristics and spouse selection tendency of the help seekers, and provides matching spouse selection suggestions according to the social psychological knowledge of spouse selection, the situation of the help seekers and the legal conditions of marriage.

Second, the relationship between husband and wife counseling

(1) Psychological counseling during the running-in period of marriage

Provide advice to help seekers and establish a suitable relationship model between husband and wife; Provide suggestions for help seekers to solve disputes such as rights and obligations, housework distribution, living habits and property management during the newly-married running-in period; Help seekers solve common sexual problems in their new marriage.
