There is a Yangzhou garden in Xinghua, Jiangsu Province, which is the private garden of wealthy businessmen in the Qing Dynasty. Many tourists miss it.

In recent years, Xinghua, Jiangsu Province has become a tourist attraction among network celebrities because of tens of thousands of acres of rape flowers, attracting many people to travel to Xinghua during the Qingming period. In fact, there are many scenic spots to visit in xinghua city, but most of them are relatively small and few people know about them. "Liyuan Boat Hall" is one of the unpopular attractions.

Liyuan is adjacent to xinghua city Museum and Xinghua County. After visiting the museum, we went to Liyuan boathouse. Liyuan was built in the Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty, with a history of 160 years. At first, the owner of Li Garden was the private garden of Li Xiaobo, a wealthy businessman in Qing Dynasty. The design and layout of the pear garden are very clever, which is a typical Yangzhou garden architectural style. Because the garden is long and narrow, it is known as "more than half an acre".

Entering from the direction of the museum, you can see a high wall. Generally speaking, the walls in the garden are not so high. Later, I learned that the museum was a prison. 1989, the prison in the northwest corner of Liyuan was demolished and converted into a museum. 1993, the museum was expanded and connected with the pear garden, which became one of the business cards of Xinghua tourism.

Because there was only a wall between Tang gaozu and the prison at that time, Li Xiaobo, who lived here, always heard the sound of chains, which was regarded as an ominous sign. So he hired many famous landscape designers to build this building with the shape of a boat in front and the bow facing west and facing the prison. In this way, the sound of the chain can be changed into the sound of the smooth anchor chain, which is unique.

The location where the ship hall is docked is towering, and the environment is particularly quiet. There is a very tall Magnolia grandiflora planted on one side of the ship hall, which is a first-class protected tree species, with an age of 164 years. I have seen many Magnolia grandiflora before, but it is really rare to see such a long history. The lush branches and leaves seem to hide the whole ship hall in the shade.

There is also a brick flower bed next to the Magnolia wall. There is a wisteria tree in the flower bed, which is 164 years old like Magnolia. If wisteria and Magnolia grandiflora are in full bloom, they will be especially beautiful.

The whole Liyuan complex has square pavilions, boat halls and square halls, which are connected by long corridors. The largest building is the ship hall. There are 7 houses in the ship hall, among which the plaque of "Free Fashion" is hung at the bow and the plaque of "Canglang Painting Boat" is hung in the middle, which has remained the original appearance so far.

Many people will be curious, ancient buildings are generally damaged to varying degrees, why is it not destroyed here? This is because the pear garden in history is the place where major local institutions work, so it can be well preserved.

In the room in the bow direction, there is a well-preserved nanmu carved lotus door, which has been protected by a glass cover because of its high value. The lotus carved by nanmu is lifelike, lifelike.

When I came to the room at the stern, I looked up at the direction of the beam and saw four different pieces of glass, all of which were imported from France at that time. From left to right, I drew "Chunlan, Qiuju, Dongmei and Xiahe" in turn, which was vivid and amazing.
