During the reign of Emperor Gaozong, he was sentenced in Jiangxi and western Zhejiang. In the eighth year of Shaoxing (1 138), Qin Gui rejected him for resisting gold with his brother, and he lived in seclusion in Chashan Temple in Shangrao. After Qin Gui's death, he was appointed as an arranger in western Zhejiang. Later, the official went to apply for a cabinet.

He died of illness in the second year of Song Dynasty (1 166) at the age of 82. Shi Wenqing. Lu You wrote an epitaph for it, and Shangrao built a Erxian Temple to worship it. He is the author of 20 volumes of Jing Shuo and 30 volumes of Selected Works. His poems about Chashan have been included in Sikuquanshu.
