Explore the northern stone forest

The author used to be an educated youth in Beijing from the 13th Division of Ningxia, located at the foot of Helan Mountain. I was "lucky" to be a soldier in the Corps for fifteen years, but I have never been to any tourist resort in Ningxia. There is a simple reason. At that time, educated youth who had neither money nor leisure, nor even life, could not expect to see the scenery.

Now, the author has retired and returned to Ningxia several times in a row. Under the leadership of students, he has traveled all over the magnificent scenery of Ningxia. Let's start with the foot of Helan Mountain. The scenery closest to Helan Mountain is called "Rolling Horn Mouth", and the locals call it "Xiaokouzi" and mysteriously call it "Northern Stone Forest".

Gunbugou, located at the eastern foot of Helan Mountain, 35 kilometers northwest of Yinchuan City, was one of the scenic spots of Helan Mountain in ancient times.

Bell mouth, commonly known as "small mouth". This mountain pass is surrounded by mountains on three sides, and it opens eastward, shaped like a big clock. There is a hill in the center of the scenic spot, which is also like a clock hammer hanging on a clock. It is called "Zhongshan", hence the name "rolling bell mouth".

The bell mouth is undulating with mountains, steep rocks and lush trees, which are beautiful. The most common shrub in Helan Mountain is not a tall shrub, but a short shrub, just like a northwest man, solid and honest, but free and easy. When I was in Xixia, this was the "Xixia Ancient Scenic Area". At that time, Li Yuanhao, King of Xixia, built a grand Summer Palace in the north of the ravine. At present, there are remnants of bricks, tiles and utensils scattered in more than 20 rugged architectural sites. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were also large-scale buildings here, including temples and pavilions, 14 temples and pagodas, such as Helan Temple, Laojuntang, Dabei Pavilion, Doumu Palace, Tian Xiaodong Temple, Guandi Temple, Xinglong Temple, Late Cuige Temple and Kannonji. These buildings are dangerous by the mountains, so they naturally drift with the tide.

Dasigou, on the north side of Gunzhongkou, is winding, with lush trees, clear springs and many strange rocks. The towering grotesque rocks are small because of the potential. But the names of the lion's roar, crouching tiger, short monkey, fairy guide, Qingyang jump, etc. They are all named by modern people with cool shapes, so they are also called "Northern Stone Forest". Along the ditch to the west, the scenery is open, and there is a big stone in the grass, which is as smooth as a mirror and engraved with the words "Xishuang Pavilion", which is also a scene. From here to the west to the end of the ditch, there are many collapsed temples on both sides of the platform, reflecting the prosperity of that year. It is said that when the morning light shines in the evening, you can also enjoy the scenery of "Helan Buddha Light", which is comparable to "Emei Baoguang". In the summer of June, on the top of Qingyang Mountain at the end of the ditch on the west side of the scenic spot, the blue sky is clear and the top of the mountain is covered with snow. This is the "Helan Clear Snow", the first of the eight scenic spots in ancient Ningxia.

However, although the rolling trumpet is as described by Jin Youzi, a poet in the Ming Dynasty, "Helan Mountain is 500 miles high, and the sky is as high as the sky. The peaks are wide and the clouds are wide, and the ancient plug is slightly purple. " The author appreciates the culture of rolling horns more. Among them, the "three religions in one" is a rare religious phenomenon in the world.

Halfway up the mountain, there are Taoist temples, temples and mosques, one next to the other, and the passages are connected. Taoist priests, monks and imams are familiar with each other and have lived in peace for hundreds of years. In festivals or worship activities of Taoism, Buddhism or Islam, many believers come to burn incense, bow down or attend classes in an orderly manner. There are few disputes between religions in Ningxia history, and there has always been a tradition of "three religions in one", which is a rare example of religious harmony and believers' harmony in today's society.

Here, interested tourists can immerse themselves in the solemn atmosphere of the integration of the three religions with sunrise and sunset. In the early morning, the chanting of the imam in the mosque makes a quiet mountain forest more halal; At about 90 o'clock, the purple color of Helan Temple in the middle of the mountain rose, and the long "fare" echoed in the empty valley. In the evening, the young monk enunciated the Heart Sutra with clear pronunciation and mellow voice: "Now it is really covered by false heart. Now I am a fool, not the real me ... "The voice echoed in the dark mountains, as if to persuade the whole world to abandon evil and desire and return to truth and goodness.

Think carefully, Ningxia's "three religions in one" also has its inevitable factors and historical and cultural origins. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period in Ningxia, the Qiang and Xiongnu were scattered, Qin belonged to the northern county, Han and Wei belonged to the county and state, and Tang and Song belonged to the two provinces. At the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty, Xixia established Ningxia Province, which was later merged into Gansu Province. Ningxia government road was established, and Ningxia Wei was located in Shaanxi Province, which belonged to Gansu Province in Qing Dynasty. It can also be said that although Ningxia borders, it has always been in the core area of Chinese culture and has accepted many religious cultures.

There are many unknown secrets in the trumpet mouth.

At the beginning of 2003, the staff of Gunzhongkou Management Office found a large construction site in the hinterland of Helan Mountain, which is inaccessible. Within tens of thousands of square meters of Fiona Fang, a large number of gray tiles and blue glazed tiles with Xixia characteristics are scattered. Nearby, dozens of Xixia characters carved on rocks and stone tablets were also found. Unfortunately, due to the age and natural weathering, some words are difficult to recognize. It is particularly noteworthy that six well-preserved lotus-shaped plinths were found in the site, all ranging in diameter from 90 cm to 120 cm, and some were even larger than some of the plinths of the Forbidden City in Beijing. Column foundation is the cornerstone to bear the pressure of building columns, and all wooden houses can be described as columns and columns, which are indispensable. According to some experts' analysis, the buildings here should be quite tall and magnificent, which is probably the departure of the Xixia Dynasty.

There is a man-made multi-storey platform at the bell mouth of Liu Shan, Qingyang, which is called "man-made".

It's called "Princess Terrace", and it is said that it is a fragrant place for burying a princess in Xixia.

Legend has it that Xiang Zongan, the seventh emperor of Xixia, had a beautiful princess who was regarded as the apple of her eye and loved her dearly. In A.D. 1209, the Mongolian army led by Genghis Khan attacked Xixia for the third time. Genghis Khan sent envoys into the city to surrender and put forward harsh conditions, one of which was to take the princess as his concubine.

In Enemy at the Gates, when the country was in danger, Xixia was forced to conclude an agreement with Mongolia: pay tribute every year, join Mongolia to resist gold, and the princess would marry Mongolia not far away. Before leaving, Xiangzong safely built a farewell table on the platform of Qingyang Sliding Mountain, so that the princess could finally have a panoramic view of her hometown. Later, because I missed my daughter very much, the security guard often looked into the distance here and changed the farewell table into a princess table. After the princess returned to the grassland with Genghis Khan, she was deeply loved by Khan and won peace for Xixia Kingdom for several years. However, the good times did not last long. King Xian Zongde, the ninth emperor of Xixia, took advantage of Genghis Khan's expedition to the west to unite many tribes in Mobei that were not conquered by Mongolian troops to resist Mongolia. This made Genghis Khan very angry and decided to destroy Xixia.

In A.D. 1226, Genghis Khan led Mongolia's most valiant army to attack Xixia, and the princess insisted on following. The Mongolian army defeated Xixia. At this time, Genghis Khan was seriously ill and bedridden. In order to prevent Zhu Xia from defecting, he made a will: No funeral will be held for the time being after his death, and when Zhu Xiaxian surrendered, he and the soldiers and civilians of Zhongxing House will be killed. The princess lived in seclusion at the mouth of the rolling bell and tried her best to help the remaining Tangut people escape the raid of the Mongolian army. Later, the princess completely saw through the world of mortals, stepped into Buddhism, cut her hair for Nepal, and devoted herself to practicing Buddhism with Deng Qing's ancient Buddha as her companion. After her death, the princess's disciples built a beautiful stone pagoda on Princess Terrace, named Princess Tomb.

How many secrets are hidden in the trumpet mouth is still unknown. 1984, coin hoard, a batch of coins from Xixia period and other periods were unearthed in Xixia, which was destroyed by flash floods, totaling 125 kg, with more than 27,000 pieces.

While thinking about the secret of the bell jar, I thought alone, but I didn't expect it to rain when I walked out of a temple called Kannonji. The road up the mountain is made of colorful stone blocks of Helan Mountain, which is more rugged and less flat, but it is also interesting with the grass on the roadside.

I looked at the mountains in the distance, all shrouded in misty rain, but in the vicinity, it was a little clearer. Maybe someone is watching the mountain stream at the other end of the mountain in the smoke, and it must be shrouded in misty rain. Smoke permeates the mountains, as if being driven to the other side of the mountain, and as if falling into a mountain stream by raindrops. I have seen it hidden in misty rain, I have seen it grow in a faint valley, I have seen it beautiful and comfortable under the blue sky, and I have seen it stretch in the shadow of clouds.
