Suzhou Dome Mountain Scenic Area, located in the west of Gusu, is the first famous mountain in Suzhou. The main peak "Ruo Mao Feng" is 34 1.7 meters above sea level, and is known as the "Top of Wuzhong". This mountain is magnificent, with vast territory, green pines and bamboos, beautiful scenery and a long history. It is the birthplace of Sun Tzu's Art of War. The six prayers of Emperor Qianlong are rich in human landscape, which combines politics, military affairs, religion and culture in one mountain.
Highlights of Dome Mountain Scenic Area:
1, Wang Hu Garden is the top garden in Dome Hill, covering an area of 60 mu. According to experts' research, Emperor Qianlong visited the south of the Yangtze River six times and the dome mountain six times. Every time I go to the True Temple to pray for longevity, then I go to the top of the mountain to see Taihu Lake and enjoy the scenery, hence the name "Wang Hu Garden".
2. Stage: the place where General Han Shizhong celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival. In order to commemorate the descendants of this famous anti-gold star, there are many cliff stone carvings left here, which are rare natural stone forests.
3. Sunwuyuan Caotang: Caotang 1 * * is a five-bay Caotang, built on the mountain, with a clear spring gurgling in front of the door, originating from the cliff and connected by bamboo tubes, which is unique. Ancient beds, stools, hemp fibers, hoes and so on are displayed in Sun Wu's Caotang. The Romance of the Three Kingdoms imitates the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, and reproduces the life scene of Sun Wu's seclusion, writing books, and playing chess with friends.
4. Sunwu Academy: In order to better inherit and excavate this historical and cultural resource and make our cultural tourism industry bigger and stronger, the People's Government of Wuzhong District of Suzhou and the Art of War Research Association of China jointly built the first and only lecture base in China-Sunwu Academy in Wuzhong, Suzhou.
5. Qianlong Imperial Road: Imperial Road is a path paved with 1.5m wide inkstone, that is, Qianlong Imperial Road. The Imperial Road on the Dome Hill is different from other Imperial Roads in Suzhou. Generally, imperial roads are specially designed for emperors, and the pavement is often made of blue bricks in the shape of an adult, which means that passers-by are "monarchs above ten thousand people".
