Is specialist medical imaging technology good for employment?

Specialized medical imaging technology is not very good for employment.

Hospitals with medical imaging equipment are generally more formal and have a certain scale. These hospitals now recruit graduates majoring in medical imaging technology, most of whom are masters.

Medical imaging technology mainly studies the basic knowledge and skills of basic medicine, clinical medicine and medical imaging, and uses the methods of imaging diagnostics and interventional medicine to diagnose and treat diseases. Common medical imaging diagnostic techniques include CT, B-ultrasound, X-ray, nuclear magnetic resonance, Doppler ultrasound and so on. Common treatment techniques include tumor radiotherapy.

In 2006, China issued a policy to teach the same major in two different academic years, in order to keep up with some developed countries in the west. The purpose of training four-year students is to specialize in technical work in the future, while the purpose of training five-year students is to engage in diagnosis and treatment in the future.

We can't deny that the country's practice is correct, because the trend of the times is that it is really necessary to separate talents from all walks of life and specialize in a certain profession, so that society can make continuous progress.

Development prospect of medical imaging technology;

So far, more than 20 four-year undergraduate schools in China have awarded bachelor of science degrees after graduation. And the current four-year system still can't apply for a national medical license, but it doesn't mean that you can't apply in the future:

(1) At present, the state has not given corresponding policies and regulations on the training mode of this major, and most schools still train four-year imaging talents according to the five-year training mode.

(2)2006 is the graduation year of the first batch of four-year imaging talents in China, and their employment and work situation will inevitably have an impact on national policies.

(3) The Health Department of Hunan Province pays close attention to the basic situation of this major, and it is expected that corresponding solutions will be put forward according to the situation in 2006 (because it takes one year to reflect the real situation in 2006, the Health Department cannot solve it in time).

At present, the four-year program can't apply for a medical practitioner's license like the five-year medical imaging program. It is this difference that causes the difference after graduation.
