The main responsibilities are as follows:
(a) to implement the national, provincial and municipal policies and laws and regulations on industrial and commercial administration, draft local regulations on industrial and commercial administration, formulate relevant policies and organize their implementation, and be responsible for market supervision and management and administrative law enforcement.
(II) Responsible for the registration, supervision and management of various enterprises, individual industrial and commercial households, farmers' professional cooperatives, units and individuals engaged in business activities, and resident representative offices of foreign (regional) enterprises, and organize the investigation and punishment of unlicensed business activities according to law.
(three) to assume the responsibility of standardizing and maintaining various market orders according to law, and to be responsible for the supervision and management of market transactions and online commodity transactions and related services.
(4) Undertaking the responsibility of commodity quality supervision and management in the circulation field, organizing consumer rights protection work in related service fields, investigating and dealing with illegal acts such as manufacturing and selling fake and shoddy commodities according to the division of labor, guiding consumers to consult, appeal, report acceptance and handling and network system construction, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of operators and consumers.
(5) To undertake the responsibility of investigating and handling illegal direct selling and pyramid selling cases, supervise and manage direct selling enterprises and direct selling personnel and their direct selling activities according to law, and coordinate joint actions against pyramid selling.
(six) to assist the anti-monopoly law enforcement (except price monopoly) in monopoly agreements, abuse of market dominance and abuse of administrative power to exclude and restrict competition. Organize and investigate economic violations such as unfair competition, commercial bribery, smuggling and bootlegging according to law.
(seven) responsible for the supervision and management of brokers, brokerage institutions and brokerage activities according to law.
(eight) the implementation of contract administrative supervision and management according to law, responsible for the management of chattel collateral registration, supervision and management of auction behavior, investigate and deal with illegal acts such as contract fraud according to law.
(nine) to guide the development of the advertising industry and be responsible for the supervision and management of advertising activities.
(ten) to organize and manage trademarks and special signs, protect the exclusive right to use trademarks according to law, investigate and deal with trademark infringement, supervise and manage trademark printing and trademark agency activities, and be responsible for the identification and protection of famous trademarks in the city.
(11) To be responsible for the service, supervision and management of the business activities of individual industrial and commercial households and private enterprises, organize and guide the credit classification management of enterprises, individual industrial and commercial households and commodity trading markets, study, analyze and publish the basic information of market subject registration according to law, and provide information services for government decision-making and the public.
