Responsibilities of the Education Bureau:
The responsibility of the county-level education bureau, the Education Science and Technology Bureau is the functional department in charge of the county's education work. Its main duties are: to carry out the educational principles and policies of the party and the state and relevant educational laws and regulations, to study major issues of the county's educational reform and development, and to guide the county's educational work.
Responsible for education policy propaganda, public opinion supervision and administrative law enforcement supervision; To guide the discipline inspection and administrative supervision of the education system; Assist the county people's government to deal with school emergencies and maintain school stability. Responsible for the ideological construction of the party, the construction of leading bodies and the ideological and political work in the school.
To plan and guide the youth legal system, moral education, sports, health, art, national defense education and ethnic education in schools at all levels in the county; Guide the work of the Young Pioneers and the Communist Youth League in primary and secondary schools in the county. To study, formulate and organize the implementation of the county's education development plan and annual education work plan, formulate policies and opinions on the county's education reform and the implementation of quality education, and guide, coordinate and inspect the implementation.
Overall management of the county's basic education (including preschool education), vocational and technical education, adult education, private education and other work, management of teachers' continuing education; Guide the education and teaching reform of schools at all levels.
The role of the Education Bureau:
Co-ordinate, organize and manage the education entrance examination, and prepare various school enrollment plans; Responsible for the management of student status and academic qualifications and employment guidance for graduates. Guide schools to provide audio-visual education, books, teaching instruments and experimental equipment; Organize educational scientific research and teaching research and evaluate teaching quality.
In charge of the work of teachers in the county, formulate policies, rules and regulations related to teacher management, and plan and guide the construction of teachers and managers in the school as a whole.
Manage, implement and guide the study and training of primary and secondary school principals, in-service teachers and educational administrative cadres; Organize the implementation of the teacher qualification system; Responsible for and manage the annual post assessment and term assessment of teaching staff; Organize and guide the recommendation and evaluation of professional and technical positions of faculty and staff.
Overall management of the county's education funds; Participate in the formulation of principles and policies for raising education funds, education appropriations and education infrastructure investment; Supervise the collection and use of education funds in the county; Formulate charging standards for primary and secondary schools (parks) in conjunction with relevant departments; Manage the school's infrastructure, finance and fixed assets.
Responsible for the statistics, analysis and release of basic education information in the county. Organize and implement the supervision and evaluation of consolidating and improving compulsory education, eliminating illiteracy among young and middle-aged people, and developing high school and preschool education. Undertake other tasks assigned by superiors.
