Classification of lidar

According to the working mode, lidar can be divided into pulse lidar and continuous wave lidar, according to the different detection technologies, it can be divided into direct detection lidar and coherent detection lidar, and according to the application scope, it can be divided into: shooting range measurement lidar (weapon experimental measurement) fire control lidar (automatic aiming and firing control of shooting weapons) tracking and identification lidar (guidance, detection, early warning, underwater target detection) and lidar guidance (spacecraft rendezvous and docking, obstacle avoidance). Lidar is mainly used in tracking, imaging guidance, three-dimensional vision system, wind measurement, atmospheric environment monitoring, active remote sensing and other directions.
